The Rogue Order Hall received major updates in the newest Legion build. While Rogues are still in Dalaran, new passageways and details make the Order Hall feel more like a secretive lair and less like the sewers. This post takes a look at the additions as well as more minor updates to Val'sharah, the Warrior Order Hall, and Monk Order Hall.
Rogue Order Hall
The first thing you'll notice is that the entrance is no longer a sewer grate. Instead, you'll go up to
“红发”杰克·芬德
in Glorious Goods or
鲁希安·提亚斯
in One More Glass. In addition to selling goods, there's an emote option to <Lay your insignia on the table.> This will open a secret passageway taking you down to the Order Hall.
The path from Glorious Goods, including the Cloaked Vestibule:
The Hall of Shadows is populated with even more famous NPCs now! They include:
大老板米达
: The goblin who gets everything done in Orgrimmar while Gallywix was "wastin' time pickin' wallpaper for his Pompous Palace in the Azsharan boondocks."
德尔克·雷木
from Silithus.
斯穆德·雷木
: Ravenholdt vendor who sells
食谱:菊花茶
.
贾斯伯·菲尔
: Shady dealer from Stormwind; last seen in Spires of Arak.
查尔斯·希顿
and
卡雷斯
: Weapon vendors from Orgrimmar and Undercity.
格里伏塔
: now lets you fence loot.
杰斯雷蒙
explains the importance of the Shattered Hand: "I give you warm greetin's, rogue, as does the Shattered Hand. Do not look so surprised. There be shadows even on the highest perches of Orgrimmar--somethin' must hide there. The Shattered Hand take that role willingly. Thrall, even in his good heart, acknowledge that the Hand be necessary to ensure orc and troll safety."
The vault is now more impressive, with higher-resolution piles of gold and gems, gaudy Mogu statues, paintings, gold bars, and treasure chests. The artifact weapon area also looks a bit more sinister.
One of the side rooms is now the center of a swordfight, with sinister alchemy experiments on the sides. Many Rogue Class Trainers are watching the fight between
格雷戈·查尔斯
and
托尼·罗曼诺
take place. Everyone's favorite rogue teacher,
洛妮卡·静刃
, is also present.
Speaking to
大药剂师法拉尼尔
more, you learn that Wrathgate placed the Royal Apothecary Society under suspicion and that he moved his work to Dalaran as a result:
When that brute Kraggosh and his overseers moved into the Undercity, we were forced to do our real work in secret. Surely you can see how such an arrangement inevitably led me here.
The bar finally sells alcohol! The bartenders include
调酒大师米拉贡
and
莎妮兹
from the Goblin Slums in Orgrimmar, as well as
调酒师日灼
from Silvermoon. For refreshment,
埃林·提亚斯
sells cheese, and there are even cheese crumbs in the corner of the room. Back in vanilla, he had the famous phrase "The Defias Brotherhood, you say? Well, you're certainly the bearer of wonderful news, aren't you? Next you're going to tell me that Deathwing is still alive and attacking the city." when you spoke to him in his Stormwind cheese shop. Old quests such as
未完的任务
also hint that the cheese business is a front for a vast spy network.
The bar tables are also piled with more appetizing food and new patrons are present including
密探弹滑
and
“剃刀”雷吉克
from SI:7.
The secret room that has the members of the Uncrowned is now a bit sparser, with a new bookcase and ceiling. The table also includes
苔丝·格雷迈恩公主
and
乔拉齐·拉文霍德公爵
.
The exit from the rogue class hall now includes a plank and the tunnel leading to it is renamed "Tunnel of Woe":
Warrior Order Hall
The Warrior Order Hall,
苍穹要塞
, is now populated with more vrykul NPCs.
Monk Order Hall
In the previous build,
可敬的萨满
was added which is a nod to
Doubleagent
, a neutral Pandaren shaman who leveled solely via gathering XP. This character will run round and periodically pick flowers or mine.
While this is the
Monk
Class Hall, he's there because his character has never left the Wandering Isle.
Val'sharah
Val'sharah is a questing zone which opened last build, and previously the Shrine of Malorne was a small area that phased in when defeating a nearby rare demon. The demonic threat has now been expanded to be a full-fledged invasion, with Druids of the Antler grouped up ready to attack.
One specific Druid of the Antler appears to be a Demon Hunter, with the addition of horns and a blindfold.
Below are images from the previous build of the cleansed shrine:
The Druids of the Antler, when spoken to, reveal interesting bits about the lore of Malorne.
We are greatly in your debt, champion. Malorne is one of Azeroth's mightiest ancients, but even he cannot be everywhere at once.
The Cenarion Circle is also spread thin these days, I fear. As you have seen, demons are invading the land, spreading foul magic in their wake.
In saving the shrine, you protected one of the foremost bastions of druidic power in the Broken Isles. Had this shrine been lost, Val'sharah might soon have followed.
Some tales say that Malorne fell in love with the goddess of the moon during the world's first nightfall.
Her light guided him through the woods and showed him he was not alone. It banished fear and brought hope.
Many creatures have loved the moon and pursued her to madness. She grants light as she will, on her own timetable, and moonlight cannot be captured or possessed.
Even so, night after night, the White Stag chased her across the skies. He grew so swift and strong that at last he succeeded in reaching her.
She was so moved by his devotion and beauty that she made him her consort. To this day he loves the wilds best when they are lit by her raidance.
We had thought this shrine would be safe enough so deep in the forests of Val'sharah. The more fools we, to underestimate our enemies.
Have no fear, champion. We shall not leave it unguarded again.
Never before has our order so openly made itself known to outsiders. Like Malorne himself, we spend most of our time in the wilds.
In these dire times, however, seclusion is a luxury no one afford. We must stand together, or we will surely fall.
Have you heard the tale of the White Stag and the Moon? It is said the tauren hunted Malorne and nearly cornered him. To escape, he leapt into the sky, but his antlers became tangled in the stars.
No matter how he struggled, he remained trapped. When the moon goddess Elune found him there, she offered to free him if he would love her and end her solitude.
Ah, but that is only one version of the myth, a tale shaped by the proud hunters who have passed it down for generations.
More than ten millennia ago, Malorne and many other powerful ancients fought the Burning Legion's demons when they first invaded Azeroth.
He died nobly during the war, sacrificing his life so that his injured son, Cenarius, could be brought to safety and healing.
No parent could wish for a nobler death than to die protecting a child.
However, let me be clear: to ancients like Malorne, we are all their children. We are fortunate that he has been restored to life and returned to us.
