from what I've gathered, Naxx will probably be a 10 and 25 man raid along with all of the other raids in wotlk. they will have different loot tables and will be set up differently to accommodate each set of groups. also I've heard that this will be one of the first raid dungeons, possibly not even requiring lvl 80.

Why Naxrammas....Again? - Most people did not get to experience this raid instance at all due to the timing of the expansion release. So Blizzard has embraced the chance to retune the dungeon, and allow all players a chance to participate in these epic battles. It is also a humongous dungeon that will offer a large variety of battles, that will maintain their storyline and feel for 10 and 25-man raids. I know I played up to the 4-horseman before the expansion release, and am still very excited to see the changes that Blizzard has made! Get started raiding

With Patch 3.0.2 live Naxxramas has moved to Northrend and its level 60 form is no longer available. That means the corrupted ashbringer and the legendary staff is no more. And of course you can no longer obtain Tier 3 armor either.

What I've read, there must be some changes in bosses, for example there will be two bosses from Naxxramas in Death Knight starting area as quest givers or quest targets,
Patchwerk
,Noth the Plaguebringer
and
Gothik the Harvester
. atleast these 3 bosses seems to reside in Death Knight Starting areas, but still they also show that they reside in Dragonblight (don't know which area Naxxramas gonna be in Northrend) but if these still are going to be bosses in Naxxramas10/25, poor show from Blizzard
(EDIT: it seems there are more of bosses in Naxxramas and everywhere else, including Lich King Arthas, yes you heard me, well i really wish how they're gonna explain this in lore or so)

Timeline progression. This is rudimentary to World of Warcraft. The events that you participate in at an earlier part of the game are considered "earlier" in the game time line.
Just because you can do the quests in Northshire Abby at level 70 (if you're not human, usually) and quests in Netherstorm minutes later (or before) does not mean both occured at the exact same time.
Since it is an open world environment with people of all levels interacting together some level of imagination needs to be maintained. Blizzard expects us to do this for our own sake and theirs.
Just because Arthas is in Ebon Hold at the same time he's in some end-game dungeon doesn't mean that according to the progression of the game's time line is he in both places at once.
It is assumed that these events occurred either before or after other events and that multiple instances of the same character are reflecting different points in the time line. Which you as a player can observe, but technically, your character doesn't.
Its at this point where some people have broken down the game so much that they have totally demolished the intended story experience. Stop thinking so much and just go with it. Its fantasy and its a story. Even if you're not an RPer on an RP realm you're playing a fantasy game. Its not all about checking reality and theorycrafting top potential DPS.
At some point you need to just take a step back and enjoy it as it is.
EDIT: Just to amend my comment, this aspect of storytelling is called either "suspension of belief" or "willing suspension of disbelief".

Naxxramas is an entry-level raid instance floating above the Dragonblight, and is available in both 10-man and 25-man versions. It has the shape of a necropolis and has the questionable honor to serve as the seat of one of the Lich King's most powerful officers, the dreaded lich Kel'Thuzad.
The original incarnation of the instance was regarded as the most difficult pre-Burning Crusade raid, and required 40 well-equipped players to complete. The entrance to Naxx can be hard to see if you are looking at the necropolis from a distance. The entrance is through four small holes arranged in a cross pattern located right in the center of the underside of the necropolis. They lead to a small courtyard with a summoning stone.
If you don't see the entrance flying around, fly underneath and close to the center (small protrusion sticking down in the center) and look up. You should see the entrances.

While you do have to have a flying mount to get to the instance, there IS in fact a summoning stone, allowing you to summon non-flying friends to come raid, assuming they're 80. It's in the same place as the 4 entrance portals into the raid.

Couple thoughts for new guilds starting 10 man content - My guild has been doing undying clears and I figured I'd post some tips here.
1) We have, from the start, run with 2 tanks (druid - MT, DK - OT), 2 healers (pally - MT, priest - group), and 6 DPS (combo of war, rogue, DK, mage, shaman, hunter, and paladin) - never experienced any problems on any of the fights. This is perfectly do-able and guild with two solid healers.
2) We started with the Construct wing - I recommend any new raids always start with Patchwerk. If you can't beat him easily, go grind some more heroics.
3) We can do a full-ish clear in around 3 hours without pushing very hard. At the start we divided the raid into two sections. We did Construct, Military, and Spider on the first night. Then finished it up on the second night.
4) Ranking the bosses in order of difficulty:
Trivial:
1) Noth the Plaguebringer (if you die on this boss, cancel your account ;)
2) Patchwerk (DPS check)
3) Anub'Rekhan (if the tank can run in a half-circle - beyond trivial)
4) Gothik the Harvester (best healer/DPS on dead side)
5) Loatheb (any sort of AE healers makes this fight a cake walk - may be harder for pally only groups)
6) Grand Widow Faerlina (after the first attempt we do the 'never dispell enrage' achievement)
7) Instuctor Razuvious (if your tanks do the job right - it's a tank and spank)
8) Maexxna (have your OT in tank gear to pick up if MT dies in last 30%)
Tricky bosses that become easy after learning:
9) Heigan the Unclean (any sort of server lag makes this fight stupid-silly)
10) Grobbulus (great way to filter out members who arn't good enough to raid)
11) Gluth (tricky-ish to learn - a good kiter makes this very easy)
12) Thaddius (somebody not paying attention can wipe the raid)
13) 4-Horsemen (DPS never rotates - we can kill each before the marks get higher then 4).
Harder bosses:
14) Kel'Thuzad (if you have ONE good healer this fight becomes trivial)
15) Sapphiron (hardest boss in here - one piece of frost resists gear makes this alot easier - hard to do w/ two healers)

When ever you compleate a wing a teleportation orb will start glowing at the entrance to the raid. each one makes a subtle ambient music and when combined together they make a symphony of angelic sounds that keep me from just hearthing out of the instance.
Even if i haven't won anything, i like to just sit there and listen to the music :)

A few things regarding etiquette in Naxx:
Please dismount when you get to the small landing with the portals and summoning stone; it's laggy enough without 20+ people sitting there on Proto Drakes and Mammoths.
Please don't spam General chat with enough garbage to rival Barrens chat; some of us use Raid chat to communicate with our groups, and forcing them to constantly scroll up to see it is just inconsiderate. (I know that people can leave General chat if they don't want to see it, but
we shouldn't have to in the first place
)

Undoubtedly, I'll be designing my first home after Naxxramas complete with 4 quarters, open sewerage and skulls in every cranny and nook. After all of this, I'll cordially invite 10/25 strangers every week to tear the place apart in search of fabulous prizes.

not a good idea to run this dungeon if you have arachniphobia because this raid is literally crawling with spiders. but gear is wicked no matter what class you are...so have fun getting insane gear!

Think of flying as an entry fee to raiding. By the time any character has gone from 70-80 and done heroics for gear, they should have earned 1.7k to blow on flying training + cold-weather flying, with plenty left over for enchants/gems/repairs/miscellaneous doodads.

Naxxramas
is a very easy instance, due to its the first content raid for Wrath of the lich king. For example how blizzard made kara, Its to give characters gear realy fast for the up-coming raids.If you have a decent 10 or 25 man core raiding group you should do it right away its very easy aslong as you know how to do fights and arnt to bad geared...I would recommend doing heroics for maybe 1 or 2 weeks...make sure to switch out the dps for new ones ,same with healers and tanks due to if its the same group it wont be doing much to gear the whole core raid group...If you need help with naxxramas fights

A Naxxramas raid group should be like this for 10 man...
*2 Tanks, One Mt , One Ot. Your tanks need cap def at 540 and atleast 20k hp.
*2/3 healers depending on your healers gear.
*5/6 dps depending on your heals like i said before.
Your dps should be able to pull atleast 2k dps if not then dont bother you wont get far.

For 25 man Naxxramas:
you will need 3 tanks they need atleast 24k hp.
You will need 5/6 healers depending on gear.
You will need 16/17 dps depending on your heals of course like i said before..
Your dps should be able to do atleast 2.5k dps, if not you need to keep doing 10 man for more gear...

This popped in my head recently and i cant help but ask. When you get to the end of each wing you see a large ring. I was wondering if its possible to not only skip quite a few bosses but also go to the upper floors by killing straight through one wing then going along the outer ring. I plan to test this if possible next time i raid Naxx, but if someone else has tested please answer.

I was wandering around the entrance area of naxxramas, and I noticed a cat named Mr. Bigglesworth walking around, attacking the little maggots. It was listed as a level 5 critter so I gave it a wack and killed it. as soon as he died Kel'Thuzad yelled.
"No! A curse upon you, interlopers! the armys of the scourge will hunt you down! You will not escape your fate..."
has anyone else had this happen to them?
and by the way, does anyone know how to get OUT of naxxramas?

You can only leave Naxx through Portals, using your Hearth Stone or Dying and Rezzing at the Spirit Healer. There is no actual 'exit' that will teleport you back outside to the ground.

Alright , i saw alot of post regarding questions about naxxramas. I will try and explain as much as possible in this post.
1 - Attunement
= The attunement quest for Naxxramas can be picked up at the lights hope chapel. Im pretty sure you dont need any requirements to pick up this quest. 3 possible ways to get attuned, the easiest of wich is being exalted with "Argent Dawn", being exalted with this reputation will grant you free access to Naxxramas.
The second best choice to entering Naxxramas is being revered. My guild is currently doing Naxxramas and most of us got attuned at Revered.
If you are Revered it will only cost 30g + 1 nexus crystal + 2 arcane crystal , thats it thats all , nothing more to do once you turn in these item to the quest giver. The quest giver for the naxx attunement quest is at the lights hope chappel as i explained earlier. I dont remember the name of the npc , but its a girl sitting on the right side of the table. The name of the quest is "The Dread Citadel".
You can also get attuned at Honored reputation with the "Argent Dawn", however this is the option that will cost you the most. It will cost you 60g + 2 nexus crystal + 5 arcane crystal + 1 righteous orb , all of wich will come up to around 200g more or less depending on how the prices of these items cost on your server. Once you complete this quest you may enter Naxx wich is kinda located at the left of eastwall gate. A previous user posted a pic of where Naxx is located.
2 - T3 prerequisites
= Although most people will not get T3 for a very very long time, it is important to pick up the quest called : Echo's of War.
This quest is a prerequisit to anyone who wishes to get hold of T3 set items. I also heard completing this quest will make you eligible to other naxx regarding quests.
This quest can also be picked up at Lights Hope Chapel in Eastern Plagueland. The npc giving this quest is a women palladin sitting on the same table as the npc who gives the quest for naxx attunement. The npc looks like a palladin with t2 set. This quest will ask you to go kill trash mobs in Naxxramas. Most of wich are easily accessible with almost any guild that has some skill.
3 - How to get t3 ?
= Like i mentioned above , to get t3 you must complete the quest : Echoe's of war. Once this quest is complete. An Npc will give out quests to get T3. Unlike t1 and t2, t3 is harder to get. To get T3 you have to kill bosses in Naxx wich will drop epic pieces such as desecrated pauldrons and e.t.c.
Once you grab hold of one of these desecrated pieces, you bring them to the NPC wich will probably be in Light hope chapel and he will craft the T3 piece with the desecrated item you have brought him.
However he will also ask you for other mats so he can craft the t3 set pieces. He will ask for mats such as Plate metal scraps and leather scraps and others. All of wich are droped from mobs located inside Naxxramas. You get a minimum of 1 these per pulls , almost every pulls drop some of these scraps. These scraps are blue colored.
4 - Naxx walktrough ( the instance ).
= Naxx is divided in 4 sections. Spider , Deathknight , Plague , abomination wing.
At my knowledge there is 3 boss in each wing and 2 others in the end ( being a frost wyrm boss and Kel thuzad ).
My guild was able to go through the deathknight wing easily the first time we went to Naxxramas. We cleared everything from the begining of the deathknight wing to the 1st boss of that wing : instructor raszuvias.
The boss however was not as easy as the mobs. He was actualy pretty difficult. All i can say for this fight is , your priests better be good at tanking :D.
In the first area of the deathknight wing lies an npc called Omarion. He will teach a tailor , leatherworker or blacksmith how to make 2 pieces of epic frost resis gear if you are revered with argent dawn. If you are exalted he will teach you how to make a 3rd piece of epic frost resist gear wich is the chestpiece.
Some of the mobs from Naxxramas give argent dawn reputation , i know the deahtknights on the steeds gave about 50 each , not quite sure on the other wings though. I have been told the abomination wing is the hardest wing. From my experience , it was a pretty hard first pull. The first pull in abomination wing pulls 4 abominations at once. All of wich hit for very very hard , we were able to do this pull , i tanked one of these abominations and they werent that hard , my gear is 3/8 might and 5/8 wrath. These abominations stun the tank and go for another target. They also execute the tanks when they are at 20% health therefor it is very important for the healers to not let the tank go below 60%. The solution my guild has picked up for the first problem , the one i mentioned a few seconds ago , the one about abominations stunning and going to another target is , we gave our tanks free action potions wich made us able to tank these guys without getting stunned.
5 - The legendary staff.
= Alright for all those wondering about the new legendary staff. From what i red , to obtain this staff you must go through a very very long process. I dont think anyone will get this staff for a very long time. To get this staff you must aquire 40 splinters of atiesh wich drop at about 1/3 on each boss. Once you gain all 40 of these pieces, you can make the frame of atiesh, wich will begin a quest. The top piece can be gotten from Kel thuzad, however im not sure if you need to have this quest to be able to grab the top piece from Kel thuzad.
And the bottom piece is with Brann Bronzebeard who was last seen in silithus. My guess is you probably gonna need to be able to clear AQ40 fully to be able to get bottom piece. Now in the plague wing there is one type of mob , the gargoyles. These guys do a poison debuff that stacks , the more of these debuffs you got the more nature damage you take every few seconds. Once these gargoyles reach about 20% health they will turn into stoneform therefor regaining all there health. It is important for warriors to keep all their rage and do execute when full rage and when this gargoyle is at 20% , same for rogues , keep your points maxed and use them when this mob is at 20%. If you do not succeed to kill him on his first stoneform , it is pretty certain that it is a wipe :/ atleast this was the case for us.

Arthas being a level 90 or 100 raid group actually makes sense,
because arthas while not being so powerful defeated illidan (which currently is thrice as tough as kel'thuzad who no one ever downed him yet)
At that time, he wasnt even the lich king yet.
So basically, arthas is the strongest villain EVER in world of warcraft.
I read that yes, it might take up to 5 years. But there will be smaller expansions with the patches for BC, but the major ones could increase the level cap by 20 levels. So you could go from 70 to 90.
There are 4 continets yet to show up on the face of azeroth (ok one isnt really a continent, but a big country).
Kul'Tiras - Daelin and Jaina's country
Undermines - Goblin underworld city, REALLY big continent. (In fact it is probably 100% chance it will show up. In the collector's edition making off dvd you can see the map on a whiteboard.)
Northrend - Arthas' kingdom.
AND, there is the sunken continent of the Nagas. Which is called NAZJATAR. They said it will likely be an instance.
Where queen Azshara lives.
They said that sometime in the future, there will be a MAJOR graphics update. So it isnt really a problem waiting 5 years. since this update could be in 2 and half years.

Well, my guild came to naxx without full Tier 2, but with Tier 0/1/AQ Equip and we did all Spider Wing and we stopped at the four horseman in Deathknight Wing, so i think good stategy is more important that good equip :)

Ive been searching my server for a naxx running guild for a few months now. Just curious, does anyone ever run naxx anymore? How big of a group of BC players does it take? can a handfull of 70s do it? How does raid looting work; is it the same as normal group looting? Are the desecrated (pieces) universal for all T3 Gear, or is there a Cloth (piece), a leather (piece), a mail (piece)
... etc? Does everyone get a peice with each boss or is there just one player who loots it? I havent found any answers to these questions in any posts. I think alot of curious pre-naxxers have been trying to find this info. Thanks.

I'm a fully epic'd level 70 warrior.
Just for fun I went into naxx and tried to clear a few trash mobs.....
They hit me for about 2k per whack. Insane....
I have a lot of respect for anyone who could do naxx at level 60.

They are tuning this dungeon for Level 80 in the next patch, also it will be changed from a 40, to a 25 man scene, and it may be intoduced as an entry level raid dungeon for level 80 players.

For Naxxramas at level 70 you still need Extremely High DPS
because if you don't kill the mobs fast enough... they just get their heath back up *sigh*
so after my first 10 man attempt failed on naxx
i started from the 1st Raid. MC and Onyxia.
Onyxia is on farm staus with a few of my regular Old world raiders MC is 50% done. and ive been Making old World raiding more important then the ^&*!ty BC raiding. *Admit it Pre-BC raids are soo much Better Made then BC raiding.
You just dont have a Better raid then Naxxramas.

Lol, Onyxia was 5 manned ALOT of times Pre TBC, And yes, Naxxramas is hard for 40 T5 70s, As for 70 instances is very much tank and spank, while in naxx EVERY class needs to do something, its way harder than SSC.

I myself was fortunate enough to experience most pre-BC content and I can tell you for sure, you're missing out if you haven't seen it. Naxx was a great instance and I can't wait for it's return, but what about the other instances?
I hope someday they bring the rest back and upgrade them to 70 or something.
One thing to mention that many people seem to forget, yes MC is cool (the very first 40 man), Onyxia is cool too, BWL (NEFF FTW), and Naxx (OMG 4 horsemen RUN)as well as AQ20 and ZG.
But AQ40 has seemed to skip alot of peoples minds and I assure you AQ40 is on the coolest ones. Check out the bosses on thottbot and the instance is so big you get to mount in there on special bug mounts that drop off the trash, trust me, do BWL do Naxx, but trust me AQ40 rocks too.

Update on expansion 10-Man Naxx:
My guild has been doing undying clears and I figured I'd post some tips here.
1) We have, from the start, run with 2 tanks (druid - MT, DK - OT), 2 healers (pally - MT, priest - group), and 6 DPS (combo of war, rogue, DK, mage, shaman, hunter, and paladin) - never experienced any problems on any of the fights.
2) We started with the Construct wing - I recommend any new raids always start with Patchwerk. If you can't beat him easily, go grind some more heroics.
3) We can do a full-ish clear in around 3 hours without pushing very hard. At the start we divided the raid into two sections. We did Construct, Military, and Spider on the first night. Then finished it up on the second night.
4) Ranking the bosses in order of difficulty:
Trivial:
1) Noth the Plaguebringer (if you die on this boss, cancel your account ;)
2) Patchwerk
3) Anub'Rekhan
4) Gothik the Harvester
5) Loatheb
6) Grand Widow Faerlina
7) Instuctor Razuvious
8) Maexxna
Tricky bosses that become easy after learning:
9) Heigan the Unclean
10) Grobbulus
11) Gluth (tricky-ish to learn)
12) Thaddius
13) 4-Horsemen (DPS never rotates - we can kill each before the marks get higher then 4).
Harder bosses:
14) Kel'Thuzad (if you have ONE good healer this fight becomes trivial)
15) Sapphiron (hardest boss in here - one piece of frost resists gear makes this alot easier - hard to do w/ two healers)

I know that there are a few lvl 60 players out there that are still cringing over the fact that the Pre-BC 40man raid is no longer available. Even though i lvl my main to 80, i still see thir point.
SO, for their case, I'l argue that there should be another entrance to Naxxramas(In the Caverns of Time), just for lvl 60 chars. The fact that there would be two almost identical instances would make logical sense in COT, and there wouldn't be a huge chunk of pre-Expansion content missing.
Do not butcher me for this, it is just an idea of how to satisfy every WOW subscriber

I hate the way every raid leader wants people with experience. We all gotta start somewhere right? I'm a hunter and my dps isn't bad, (up for nax standard) but no one will exept me into their grp because i don't know the tacs.

We recently completed testing

on the PTR. A big thank you goes out to everyone who helped us find bugs or exploits we could fix before release. We often get questions about how we decide what counts as a bug, and what’s worth changing, so I thought you might enjoy a deep dive into our investigation of
萨菲隆
’s
冰霜光环
.
TLDR for anyone who only wants to know the conclusion: We’re changing the spell to tick every 2 seconds consistently.
When
萨菲隆
is engaged, the entire raid is affected by a
冰霜光环
which reads: “Deals Frost Damage every second”, but many players reported that it should be every 2 seconds. Our first thought was, “that was the Wrath of
巫妖王
version,” but we know that in a game as complicated as WoW, there can be surprising and unexpected interactions, and a lot has changed over the last 15 years. When a current behavior doesn’t match players’ or developers’ memories, it always makes us a little suspicious. Sometimes it turns out our memories are wrong, but we’ve also seen it lead to the uncovering of an unexpected interaction, so, it’s usually worth a look, and that was certainly the case here.
We looked at many old videos, and though some were from the wrong expansion, we were able to find videos that showed the original fight. The videos actually had evidence of both tick rates within the same fight. The
冰霜光环
seemed to
mostly
tick every 2 seconds, but
occasionally
tick once per second for a bit, before returning to ticking every 2 seconds. We also checked in our reference server, and the behavior was the same as we saw in the videos: mostly 2 second ticks, but occasionally a brief streak of 1 second ticks, before returning to 2 second ticks.
Perhaps the most useful clue was this post from WoW game designer Daelo in 2009, in which he describes fixing
萨菲隆
’s
冰霜光环
so that it does “the damage that was seen previous to the 3.0.8 patch”:
"We just hotfixed

冰霜光环
so it should do the damage that was seen previous to the 3.0.8 patch regardless of the size of the raid or your server's performance. This should be 1200 every 2 seconds in Normal, and 1600 every 2 seconds in Heroic. You'll notice that the
冰霜光环
debuff you have no longer has a duration that refreshes. The tooltip also incorrectly lists the damage as occurring every second. The tooltip error will be fixed the next time we make a client patch available."
This certainly suggests that it was doing damage every 2 seconds prior to the 3.0.8 patch, but this was a hotfix to the Wrath of
巫妖王
version of
纳克萨玛斯
. We’ve already found other differences between the original and Wrath of
巫妖王
versions of
纳克萨玛斯
, so while this post was helpful, it wasn’t enough to satisfy us on its own. It contained an important clue about the debuff duration refreshing, which led us to suspect the DoT refresh might be clipping the damage tick. In WoW Classic, when you refresh a DoT, it resets the timer on the periodic damage, and can cause you to miss ticks, and since the
冰霜光环
has a 5 second duration that gets reset throughout the fight. It was a good bet that the damage timer was getting reset then too. Of course, we already reproduced that behavior in WoW Classic, so that still didn’t explain the discrepancy between the two.
At that point, we dug further into the game code and found the difference in the way
萨菲隆
re-applies the Aura. In both reference and WoW Classic, the aura re-application was done as part of an Action Trigger which fires every 2 seconds. However, in the original code, action triggers share a timer with periodic spell ticks, and action triggers were always processed first. In modern code, they run on independent timers, so a long-running action script won’t delay a spell tick.
This meant that when
萨菲隆
re-applied the
冰霜光环
in reference, it was
guaranteed
to clip the damage tick that was about to happen, leading to every other tick getting skipped. In modern code, the damage tick and the reapplication are both scheduled to occur at the same time, but are controlled by two separate timers, so either one might happen first. It just so happens that in this encounter, the reapplication generally happens
after
the DoT tick on the same second, so that players got the full damage on every tick, instead of every other tick.
But this mystery isn’t solved yet. What about those occasional one second ticks we saw in the original videos and in the reference server. They were rare, but if the reference code is guaranteed to do the refresh before the damage tick, how were they ever ticking at once a second? It turns out that the
冰霜光环
application didn’t always succeed, and if it failed, the existing DoT happily ticked away doing damage once per second until the next refresh attempt 2 seconds later, like this:

is 3 levels higher than the player, the spell can only miss 1% of the time, but that’s what explained the occasionally 1 second ticks we saw in the videos, and with our reference.
We also reached out to the original designer, who still works at Blizzard, on a different game team. After we described our findings, he agreed that the
intended
behavior was for the damage to be every second, and the fact that the reapplication of the aura was clipping a tick of the DoT was a bug that wasn’t noticed or fixed until Wrath of
巫妖王
.
So where do we go from here? We often must carefully consider a conflict between original intent and original behavior. There’s no one right answer in all cases, but for this case, the original behavior is the correct decision, and we plan to fix this in much the same way Daelo did in Wrath of
巫妖王
. In modern code, we have a way to reliably apply an aura that deals damage every 2 seconds as long as the boss is alive, and we’ll re-write this ability to use that method, just as Daelo did in Wrath of
巫妖王
.
While the behavior that led to it originally occurring every 2 seconds instead of every 1 second was a bug, it was consistent enough as to be indistinguishable from a text bug in the Aura description. Choosing to go with the original intent would result in almost twice as much damage as players experienced in 2006, so in the end that makes this decision pretty clear.

Hey everybody,
I wanted to drop in and give one more update. Astute readers of my earlier post may have noticed that the original implementation had a 1% to do an extra tick of damage, and while that’s pretty minor on
average
, taking an extra tick of 600 damage can create a dangerous
streak
that can make the fight significantly harder, especially if you don’t have much frost resistance.
I’m really happy to share with you that after I made my post, our newest team member added an effect that exactly reproduces the 1% chance to have an extra tick of frost damage, so you’ll have something even more true to the original difficulty.
Watch out for those damage streaks! It’s cold in there!
