Ambassador Hellmaw Blackheart the Inciter Grandmaster Vorpil Murmur Murmur is an incredibly powerful elemental that was born when the Universe was created, about whom little is known. The Shadow Council inhabiting the Shadow Labyrinth in Auchindoun summoned him for their nefarious purposes, but seem to be having trouble keeping him under control. His history is briefly documented in the Codex of Blood , which reveals that Murmur is the primordial essence of sound. Entrance MurmurAbilities Sonic Boom : Builds up and then releases a sonic explosion hitting everyone within 34 yards. Damages for 70%-85% of your total health plus 12% over 6 seconds and applies a debuff that reduces movement speed by 90%. This attack can be resisted.Murmur's Touch : Puts an debuff on a random target (including the primary target). The target explodes after 10 seconds, causing about 4000 nature damage in a 10 yard radius in addition to knocking it up in the air. Everyone caught in the explosion will be silenced for a few seconds.Resonance : Applies a debuff to all targets that increases nature damage taken by an additional 2000 for each stack. Also hits for 2000 base Nature damage. This attack only occurs if no valid target is in melee range.Magnetic Pull : Periodically draws in a player towards Murmur. Is usually followed up with an attack.Sonic Shock (Heroic) : Shocks a player with arcane energy, dealing 1875 to 3125 damage and leaving a damage over time debuff.Thundering Storm (Heroic) : Regularly hits players outside of the raised ring for 2125 to 2875 nature damage.Melee : Approximately 2000 damage with 55% reduction (13,000 armor) at level 70.Tips The tank and melee DPS should be quick to react to the sonic boom. Murmur will emote "Murmur draws energy from the air", at which point you will have five seconds to vacate the circle. Tanks should use / Wild Charge to return to Murmur after the sonic boom to prevent unnecessary damage from resonance. Healers should use preventative healing measures such as and to help keep the victims of Murmur's touch alive. The damage from Murmur's touch can be avoided with , Ice Block , and Cloak of Shadows . Be careful using these measures however, as they will trigger the detonation which will still affect other party members. (Heroic) Players should stay inside the ring to avoid taking damage from thundering storm. When sonic boom is cast, they should completely run out of the circle and then immediately return after the spell has hit.(Heroic) Murmur's touch will draw all party members to the player afflicted with the debuff. Thus there is no value in spreading out; instead stay together and have the person with the debuff run away from the group.
