"Fervent Strike" Mechanic Hotfixes in Current and Season 4 Mythic+ Dungeons

Earlier today, Blizzard announced that certain Season 3 dungeons have their anti-kite mechanics (Fervent Strikes) changed. However, many of these spells also had their range changed and Blizzard hotfixed Fervent Strike mechanics from the Season 4 dungeons.
What is a "Fervent Strike" Mechanic
The "Fervent Strike" mechanic mostly originated in the Battle for Azeroth expansion, as many mobs in Mythic+ dungeons had an anti-kite mechanic built into mob's main spells. Many mobs in BFA Mythic+ would cast their Tankbuster ability on cooldown prioritizing their primary target, but if that player is out of range, it'll target someone else in melee range. in Atal'Dazar, and thus these types of mechanics were dubbed "Fervent Strikes" by the community.

is a mechanic which prioritizes the primary threat target, but if that players is out of range will target someone else in range instead.
These mechanics been criticized as felt unfair and cheap, as sometimes your melee DPS just dies with little counterplay other than running away. There has been some speculation in the community as to why Fervent Strikes were made, including as a reactionary measure after the insane kite meta of Legion Mythic+ dungeons. However, when certain affixes force your tank to kite such as Necrotic, it does just lead to unfun gameplay.
Whether or not these mechanics are intentional has not been confirmed by Blizzard, but they have lasted the entirety of Battle for Azeroth and possibly all of Shadowlands.
Shadowlands Fervent Strikes
Announced Hotfixes
Earlier today, Blizzard announced that
certain mobs
are having their Fervent Strike effects removed. This targets some of the mobs that have a Fervent Strike, but not all of them.
In addition, what wasn't announced in the hotfixes was that it seems like some of these Tankbusters now have a
10 yards range
. For most spells this increases the range of the tankbuster, so be warned tanks!
Stabs the target, inflicting 3 Physical damage and increasing the damage of Beak Slice by 10% for 30 sec.

is missing some mobs that Fervent Strike in Shadowlands Mythic+ dungeons. Here is a list of common mobs that likely still Fervent Strike as they are not listed in the hotfix notes:

Unannounced Hotfixes - Season 4 Dungeons
However, there were some other hotfixes pushed at the same time which look similar. These seem to indicate some fixes to mobs in Season 4 dungeons to possibly remove Fervent Strike mechanics from the upcoming Season. Is Blizzard planning on moving away from Fervent Strike mechanics?

The caster strikes out with a blade of pure Arcane energy. The victim takes an initial hit of Arcane damage and then burns for additional Arcane damage every second for 10 sec.
