The bread and butter of the rework in single target - and the source of the cautious 5% single target buff came as a balancing act between two indirect nerfs to Marca do Ceifeiro (the loss of 10% of its explosion damage from the removal of Painful End, and the loss of Grim Reaper) and the ability to consistently add another 300% AP in damage after any Marca do Ceifeiro thanks to the free Ceifador de Almas provided by Ceifador de Almas.

The removal of Blood Fever shined in AoE damage while being massively lackluster in single target. This was replaced with a 10% direct damage buff to Sangue Fervente, which is not quite enough to match it (5.6% AP per target every 7.5s hasted vs. a 40% chance to deal a bonus tick of 2.64% every 1.5 seconds before Coagulopatia and Decomposição Rápida are considered. It looks like Coagulopatia's impact on Blood Fever was ignored when deciding the magnitude of the damage buff on Sangue Fervente)

A major contributor to AoE damage is the tight interlinking between Marca do Ceifeiro, Ruptura de Alma and Anjo da Morte. In 11.0.2, Painful End also came into the picture as it amplified Marca do Ceifeiro's explosion by 10%. A precarious - but healthy! - balancing point existed in the PTR builds for 11.0.5 where the damage difference between 11.0.2 and 11.0.5 would shift from being a slight buff in single target, to a loss on 3 targets, and then back to a slight buff on 5 targets, something which the haphazard hotfixes obliterated by nerfing both Marca do Ceifeiro's explosion amount - indirectly nerfing both Ruptura de Alma and Anjo da Morte in the process.

Ofensiva do Retalhador (the former Swift Death) was likely moved from a node it had no hope of competing on to another choice node, but lost all of its value in the process. Its predecessor reduced the cost of Marca do Ceifeiro by 1 rune, and had an implicit full rune cost reduction on the one Exterminar-buffed Talho Medular it provided, making it completely free. In doing so, it weakened an already negative-value talent even further.

Pacto do Mortífero and Escudo de Expulsão have been completely untouched from Beta, and still exhibit the same problems as before - being essentially zero value talents, theoretical or practical, sharing their respective nodes with valuable talents.

Blood Boil damage increased by 15%.
Heart Strike damage increased by 20%.
Blood Plague damage increased by 10%.
Death Strike damage increased by 20%.
San’layn:
Vampiric Strike proc chance increased to 35% (was 25%).
Essence of the Blood Queen duration increased to 25 seconds (was 20 seconds).
Gift of the San’layn increases the effectiveness of Essence of the Blood Queen by 200% (was 150%).
