my guess on the on use is that it changes where it sheathes.
Salzman didn't see this coming.
The original version was Slayer of the Lifeless? I think you mean The Hungering Cold from KT in Vanilla?
@Archimtiros For being named after an item in WoW Classic you dropped the ball on the sword's actual inspiration, seeing as it literally drops off of Kel'thuzad in Vanilla WoW?
I'm 99% certain it'll change where it's sheathed because The Hungering Cold is a hip sheathing weapon and the Slayer of the Lifeless is a back sheathing one, and I hope this becomes a transmog choice for all 1h weapons in the future. Good first step though!
How can you kill that which has no life?
where is the pvp colorings?
I was really hoping it would just be a transmog drop, since it's strength I'll basically never see it now. T_T
The on-use effect is going to change the position of the weapon. Mean it can sheath on your back or on your hip. Calling it now.
Soo, uhm... it changed from a 2h to a 1h (the ptr/patch9.1 version, not the old one). Could that be something to do with the use? Changing it between 1h and 2h? *fury warrior fingers crossed*
As foretold by Salzman
I thought this was supposed to be a 2h, my life is now in shambles. Maybe the effect turns it into a 2H, right guy s it's possible right? right?
I can't tell if the LFR or Normal variant are more accurate to the original. They both have details that are off. Either way, I'm glad it's still obtainable for warriors without threatening to kick someone out of Zoom raid call for it. Only problem is I have to give up a drop chance for a weapon I won't use as a proper weapon. At least there will finally be a reason to set my loot spec to Fury again, if only for one boss.
neat and all but how about the better looking Maw swords that were datamined ages ago
