Thats a huge ass buff. Honestly 12% To the mastery is probably too much. On 2 target cleave or AOE burst bladestorm is already stupidly strong. Arms isn't that far behind fury right now on ST. I raid mythic as arms along side 2 fury warriors and I'm always within 2k dps (sometimes ahead of them) on every fight.
The problem with arms is the gameplay, just so boring, Fury feels so much better to play. Arms have amazing skills, talents (specially pvp) and azerite traits, but still feels so weird playing them, so slow and clunky.
I feel like maybe toning down the damage of execute slightly, but increasing rage generation might help. Arms feels slow to gain resources, and haste just isn't always enough. I get that it's thematically appropriate, a single strike from a blademaster, but sometimes the gameplay isn't the best feeling in the world.
Blizzard, message from a MM hunter, when a warrior arm deal the same dmg than a MM hunter while the MM kite pretty well, and 64% of his damage is from arm mastery, what can i tell about that buff of 10% of his damage in arena ? The solution is not on the mastery 1 hit and you are dead in time, it's to feel the direct damage hurting, not the bleed. Sometime i can tank arm warrior beacause his direct damage don't scare me beacause of mail armor, but his bleed fear me beacause that bypass armor and deal so much dmg. Need to buff more direct damage than buff mastery ...
Needs way more to get anywhere close to viable from the bottom pit of the worst spec of the game. Clunky even in AoE situations since besides sweeps/bladestorm arms has no AoE damage at all and you are left with 1 whirlwind per melee swing which does laughable damage. Fury can do quite high sustained AoE on 5 targets, especially with gushing wounds.Also why buffing deep wounds? It is already a majority of Arms' damage. With rend specced, are bleeds going to be 1/2 of total damage? I always thought arms was about "overpowering attacks" as description says, not tickling for 10-20k hits with bleeds doing all the work. I miss days when execute was actually AN execute. I would much rather have deep wounds nerfed in order to make all abilities actually feel impactful.What about bringing back executioner's precision that made execute phase more than pressing of 1 button with overpower procs now and then.+What is Blizz' problem with keeping the spec with literally 0 selfheal and a single 3 min defensive? The selfheal fury can do (plus shorter cooldown) is quite noticeable to have in all sorts of content, not being 100% dependant on having a healer literally babysit you. Arms is far from being the weakest spec in the game. With proper azerite its about 2k behind fury on ST (I have awesome azerite for both and play both very well). But I agree they're buffing the wrong place. Leave the mastery alone, and just make mortal strike hit harder. Its supposed to be a big nasty hit, not just a dot applier. They should have buffed mortal strike do to 10% more, slam, overpower and execute to do 5% more and slightly increase rage generation, maybe 1 or 2 more points per swing.

Wasn't aware Arms was considered weak. I play it because it's so much less clunky than Fury due to Rampage
I love arms and'll keep playing it. Wasnt aware it needed a boost of any sorts but surely appreciate it.

this its very welcomed but i would prefer to see some rage regeneration or more rage gain..cause atm u lost like after 3-2 atack warrior arms delay 1-2sc to get rage again to atack ....kappa to rogues ferals that energy regen its insanly. high and they atack with spells all time in comparation with arms waarrior that have delay..but like in legion they will just buff warrior with damage no talents change ...and still warriors its most depended gear class..unlucky..chinise developers hate warriors arms:)) oh yeah first 2 patch nerf mastery and deep wounds now after i farm all gear with haste versatility..crit i need to respect and farm back items with mastery..good job..(tips for warrrios arms u can use avatar traits from protection to arms its work very good its give you ignore pain and 600mastery for 20sc when activate the avatar on arms its work well both pvp and pve ..crushing assault may be good but its just rng..)
The fact, that they finally look into Arms is already enough for me. Makes me happy :) I stayed true to Arms the whole time, Fury is just too spammy for me
