Finally Nobbel's story take! Thank you! So yeah, digging into the entire Pantheon lore, I feel Blizzard needs to get their Retcon going FAST. How their spirits are suddenly back but captured and tortured....what? lol. I agree about Sargeras as well. So, he's been Solid Snake-ing his way to Azeroth while we fight on Argus? Major WTF/Facepalm about Illidan now the jailor of Sargeras because he can't die? Let's all ignore Maiev by the way! Nothing to see here despite her being an excellent character foil to keep along with Illidan.I do enjoy what Blizzard has going, but for another person who follows the lore, I was super confused about these events and I'm glad I'm not the only one. I honestly hope Blizzard gets to Retcon time fast.100,000 signatures for Retcon please!
With us killing argus's titan soul is the world of argus still stable or is it only a matter of time before argus collapses into dust?
The question that has been on my mind for a while: after we give so much for so long to protect and nurture the Titan egg Azeroth, what happens to us microorganisms on her skin when she hatches? Plenty of open space on Draenor, I guess...
Great summary. Too bad we didn't have more NPC interactions - Velen really went quiet in Antorus for the most part. Illidan as a cult fav oddly stepping away has to be explained further. I agree with the plot holes mentioned - still this was still the best raid in the best expansion we've seen.
Antorus is the new ICC :)
Urhg, the story telling in Legion has been garbage. Worse, they pillaged and defiled the existing, great story to tell it. Betrayer indeed.
Tall tales of Titans, godly beings and their equally formidable foes... and here we are, watching one of them dragged away by the Constellar Police when he's caught sniffing Azeroth's nether regions./Facepalm
One thing that confused me was the whole notion what the Legion was using Argus's power for. It doesn't really matter now, since the Pantheon uses the rest of it to imprison Sargeras and cut the head off the burning crusade, but there are a lot of references to how severing the connection to Argus will "make the infinite army finite," implying that Argus is the source of the demons' ability to reincarnate.BUT... we know that ability predates the burning crusade. Sargeras noticed that the demons were reincarnating back when he was still working with the Pantheon (in Chronicle I); that was the reason he created Mardum and used it as a prison world to trap all the demons he killed. Then AFTER he went bad he shattered Mardum and freed them all and recruited them to the burning crusade. I thought maybe they had just retconned that whole bit, but Mardum: the Shattered Abyss is the DH class hall location, which means that history was still canon at least at the launch of Legion.So... is he using Argus to just regenerate demons at a faster rate? Does it let him make them stronger or exercise more control over them? Or is that just the Army of the Light misunderstanding, when really the whole point is to stop him raising Argus and the other titans in his service? I feel like I'm missing something about why his connection to Argus was of such significant strategic importance to begin with.
