Ok the only way to exploit is to find a rich friend/s who do not wish to play the same game as you do. Let's say you want to continue in TBC while a friend of yours is to continue in Classic, he can then give you all your gold a day before Pre-patch. Day after you log into TBC and create a template of your Char. Then you pay to make a clone of your character, doubling your gold and returning all of it to your friend on Classic version realm.
I think i'll pass. The economy will be beyond repair.
Thanks Blizz ! Don't listen all the whinning from people trying to blackmail you into guilt. There are people out here who actually love and play your game. So you are right to not cuddle people who don't even play your game, like you did so many times in retail. Haters gonna hate, but Bot will be here in Tbc too so what's the point with doing a "great reset" ?

All complaints by people who want a fresh economy can be solved by simply launching some clean TBC servers where people cannot transfer to but only create new characters. This will also alleviate the pressure on the existing Classic servers which will be once again full of queues and lag otherwise, crossing my fingers that they realize that and implement this sort of solution before launch :)
wym, you can only copy one character once
Tbh even if they do "fresh" servers, it'll still just inflate to all hell in a matter of weeks anyways, so tbh it doesn't make that much of a differenceAs long as people are able to use the knowledge of 2021 to exploit a game from 2006, there will always be people able to do things no one did back then, like being 20 times richer
Bots are still farming.Bots have been farming ever since launch 2 years ago, bots have millions of gold.A lot people have millions of gold meanwhile the majority can somehow manage to buy a flask and go to raid. What will happen with the economy if 100 ish people will manage the whole ah?I'm already concerned just to think how many bots will farm Black Temple blood elfes for tomes,or mana thistle for flask. They will buy up everything and sell it for 3* its worth,So they can make even more money and sit on it.I know i know,If something is expensive, then you can sell it expensive too.Yes good logic except Every herb/mineral node will be farmed, and every spot will be taken by bots again. The bots are a problem even on shadowlands,And nothing were made agains them since shadowlands launch.Same will happen on this #$%^,even private servers think about more than this company. Not even going to talk about the paid"level 58" boost. No changes btwNot capping gold is the best idea they made after "no changes classic"
Because when classic launched black lotus worth !@#$,and bots farmed them bought them. Now they can sell it 10* the price.Same happend with BFA mounts in shadowlands,Bots farmed it whole year, got 60 world dropp mount and now selling them above its worth, since you cant rly farm it anymore. If a new server coms, there will be no millions of gold, only thousands,No one will buy a flask for 2k gold on a fresh server.
Are you having problems in your head?Do you know how many bots are farming stratholme 024?Or literally any herb/node?Are you playing the same game as we?The bots are problem in shadowlands too,And nothing is made against them, then randomly a seller sells 136k herb of the same, what a concidience that guy have been farming bastion 024 for days.Banwave goes around every half year i guess? And the gold they make will get out of their hands before the ban comes.Guess what?Someone is having millions of gold without getting punished. It is happening with boosters in shadowlands,Somehow hundreds of millions gold get lost and blizzard not even tracking it.If i wait a day to get a lotus and then the other guy who is sitting here 024(because hes a bot) takes it,how can it be my fault ?How can i compare in gold farming,After working, sleeping, and spending daily 8 hours to farm with bots who are 024 farming without any rest? Please explain this to me.
what if i dont want to pay for a boost and level thro classic then jump to tbc.. another thing will the pre patch have a different server too? this is a cluster*!@#
