I don't do Mythic raiding, but my Guardian Druid has been great for raiding in general and M+. Also as a Druid you have great flexability with strong offspecs - Resto and Balance. The only problem with Druid is so many amazing legendaries to choose from. I have 4x235 legendaries and working on my 5th and 6th soon...Catweaving definitely adds to the skillcap of Guardian Druids, and something I'm going to be trying to master to up my dps. Unfortunately as the guide says, pure Bear dps is quite mediocre, and probably the biggest weakness we have I would say.
I don't know what you were smoking when you made this list. Switch prot warr with brew at the very least. Brew has no survivability, no self healing and is just crap. Warrs have a cd for everything and are already demigods, next tier they will become unkillable gods.
im really confused at his explanation on the "Weakness" of prot warriors while mentioning the wall legendary. Reprisal legendary power makes up for the holes in our mitigation and paired with anger management our cooldowns come up faster than ever. our next "weakness" he mentions is mitigated by venthyr covenent, condemn and seems really op for fights with heavy magic or bleed damage but is often said that it is our worst covenant power for protection. honestly the only negative atm for prot warrior is our dps. I think the take away from this is that everything is viable. In lists, something has to be at the bottom - representation wise its definitely warrior, though that might change the further into 9.0.5 we get. Currently, I'm enjoying the playstyle of reprisal on my warrior (did mythic Sludge on the war), but will probably stick with brew for mythic SLG and Donny as I'm more comfortable on it (since I spent all of 9.0 playing brew). But I don't think for a second that warrior tanks will have difficulty getting CE, or any specific tank will really. All these specs feel a lot closer than BFA and playing "B+" or "A-" spec isn't going to be the reason guilds out there don't get CE.
Am I the only one that gets irked when a standardized grading scale is defined, yet non-standardized grades are assigned? To me it sounds like a cross between the professor that says "no one gets a 100% on my quizzes regardless of the number of questions answered correctly" and the concept of "no student left behind." It appears as if: DH is S-tier, Paladins and Warriors are B-tier.
As they touched on throughout the article, I really hope they %^&*ing ditch the mandatory debuffs. It's really frustrating seeing my VDH being called for nerfs, due the popularity and necessity of our debuff. VDH is in a decent spot, but they are neither the best tanks at damage, or mitigation. They just happen to be decent, but also bring a debuff that is absolutely crucial, and with Havoc now being a mediocre spec, everyone feels they need to have VDH not by virtue of how strong the actual spec itself is, but because of a debuff we mindlessly apply. Please just get rid of the stupid mandatory debuffs, reduce hp for raid/dungeon mobs by 3-4%, and call it a day.
I wish they'd strip raid buffs from the tanks
