Nice can't wait to get into the action already!
The layout looks quite interesting.
Use caution. We don't want our withered to end up in cocoons.
That MU-Gul'dan cameo is pretty great.
I honestly didn't expect this to be so beautiful. I was expecting a more fel/destroyed type of place kind of like Hellfire Citadel. Can't wait to run this!
It looking haunting and beautifully designed already, I get some Black Temple ambience vibes from some of the screens as well. Can't wait for the music and sound effects, one of my favourite things to do is run old content with the ambience turned all the way up.
Totally agreed. Looks really awesome. Couldn't even imagine it to be that good! Can't wait now :)
The stained glass seems very Ulduar, and the water area very much like the Abyssal Maw dungeon.
That stained glass is great, we get to see the Tidestone whole how it kind of used to look. Stained glass art is very amazing to look at, I've seen one depicting the Draenei and the events that happened to them created by someone, its simply beautiful.
Doesn't make sense being so pristine. This place was smashed up so bad during the sundering that even the ground it was built on collapsed into the sea, where it lay for 10,000 years before being violently thrust to the surface, and then partly collapsed again after some chaotic spellwork... yet the place looks brand new. Books are still on shelves, candles are still lit, not a single stone out of place. It has been full of demons for decades at least, likely centuries. Sargeras' own avatar is here, and the Burning Legion's portal to Azeroth is here, yet there's barely a hint of fel-corruption.Where's the shattered hallways and the piles of rubble that killed Maiev's party? Where's the traces of all the demons that swarmed all over them, and Gul'dan before that? Even the audio drama lead-in to Legion described how ruined the tomb was supposed to be.
I'm a bit disappointed. In WC3: FT, Maiev and her wardens enter the tomb looking for Illidan. Along the way, they encounter a statue of Queen Azshara, but with one interesting detail. Maiev noticed that the statue had a tail. Clearly foreshadowing of what was to be revealed just after. Where the wardens encountered Lady Vashj, who told the truth to Maiev about the origins of the Naga. How they were former Highbourne night elves transformed into their serpent like forms. Seeing the statue in game atm, makes me sad. While I prize blizzard for the MU Gul'dan Easter egg, the azshara statue, felt incomplete.
While I was exploring the tomb on the PTR last night, I found the avatar room deep below the tomb.Have screenshots here, contains spoilers if you don't want any. http://imgur.com/gallery/K6loNI also found the place we fight Kil'jaeden, also contains large spoilers. http://imgur.com/gallery/8O2b3Edit: Added annotations to the screenshots to explain them more, updated new links.
Oh these are great!
this beautiful raid made me feel like i'm again younger and exploring the black temple for the first time!
Another beautiful raid Blizz. I am not even done being awestruck at nighthold's environment and these beautiful screenshots gives me hypes.
