So wait, they can change talents in SoD? Someone in my guild gave me some lame excuse that the reason for the runes was the fact that this is the same client as Classic Era and if they changed something here, it would effect Era servers as well. But look, they changed Paladin Vindication! So wtf Blizzard? Do me one last fav, change precision in Prot tree to be hit with attacks AND spells like in Turtle WoW and we'll be jelly.
Absolutely insane rogues are still not getting cloak of shadows. With all of the overpowered dots and instant bursts that have been introduced in SoD, melee classes have suffered tremendously in PvP. I know Blizzard doesn’t care much for PvP but when literally every single class and specialization can push one button and either completely prevent a rogues survival or require them to blow multiple massive (in terms of length) cooldowns, in which case the best option is to sprint away from all other enemies. Additionally, if DoTs don’t kill the rogue, burst instants will. A rogue is currently required to tea or prep in order to 1v1 nearly every class. In which case there is a 5-7 minute after ever 1v1 in which a rogue is at an extreme disadvantage. This is not to mention the amount of time it takes to kill someone 1v1 or if you can even kill a shaman, paladin, Druid, priest, warrior or a warlock with utilizing every cooldown we have before someone comes to save them or they two shot you by pushing one button. As someone who plays WoW for the PvP, I do not expect every class to be balanced with another. But it is ridiculous to be rendered nearly ineffective in PvP all scenarios. Adding cloak of shadows to rogues, if placed in the same rune slot as Just A Flesh Wound (or whatever the tanking rune is called) would prevent tank rogues from breaking dungeon mechanics and raid fights and it would also take the same slot as deadly brew, which is required for melee dps. This would drastically reduce any opportunity for PvE rogues is become overpowered while still giving heed to the class limitations in a PvP setting. Please make this change.
