hotfix incoming soon probably
Inc Hotfix:Oshir has learned how to leap onto cages regardless of line of sight or distance. He will always perform those abilities as intended!
The ones saying hot fix inc are the ones that didn’t know about it or not doing keys. This has been known for a while now.
See this is complete BS.You can cheese all cages from being opened, even the first, not like the article mentions that one has to have been opened. I posted video proof in Tank Discord but alas, as I'm a no-name 2.9 BDK it's not valid even if there is Video Evidence to it.Feel free to reach out to me for video proof, it's a 100% safe spot that prevents him from opening all wolves FROM THE VERY START.
Well, the impact of this is rather low.If you have three add phases (= two wolf phases) you are doing very high keys, in which case you probably already knew. Or you lack dps and are most likely in some PUG, where it's unlikely that you can apply that stategy.Breakout has a 40s CD before he is able to recast it, in fortified +15 keys he usually dies around the rylak spawn (so roughly 90s after engage looking at warcraftlogs), and in tyrannical he dies averagly at 120s which is just before the third breakout.
OP forgot to mention that Time to Feed can be 'interrupted' by agro resets like Feign Death, Vanish, maybe invisibility. If it counts as a 'stun' then Icebound fortitude and any other defensive that deals with stuns ('unShimmered Blink' too). These are the kinds of posts that tells people that DPS isn't 'everything'. A Shammy healer that doesn't use their capacitor/EarthBind totems are mediocre overall too. On pugs I have to tell people to use their stuns, specially on Fortified weeks (and specifically on Explosive, as stuns on pack pulls DELAY their spawns, even if for a few seconds, when you can focus some more DPS on the actual mobs instead of trying to hit the bombs). It is advisable to spare 1-2 GCDs to use a stun that would prevent an otherwise dangerous uninterruptible cast, or to lock a mob for a few more seconds, relief the tank and healer, than focus ONLY on DPS while everyone could get endangered. As a Kyrian SV Hunter I tend to save the Resonating Arrow just for these wolf packs (talented Binding shot helps a lot too) plus the Aspect of Eagle to 100% damage them wolves from afar, but even if you're not using Raptor Strike and/or Cleave, Bombs, SS, Kill command help a lot, along with the ever ready Tar/Freeze Trap. You can also CC the wolves going to the healer with Scare Beast for 20s, while dealing with the others first (Scare Beast is your Go-To personal CC for the Rylak too) but noooo, people tunnel even on skills.
Funny, I just ran this Mythic last night and we ended up trying this, with no luck.
I can see the boat part being hotfixed, but if this was done in challenge modes it won't be fixed at all. Besides its season 4 and the MDI is over they won't care. Normally this would be a hotfixed issue, but not now.however, if you're doing high keys chances are you have the coordination to aoe cc and burst the wolves so, its not really needed. Warlock stun, survival/marks binding shot, just being two examples with most comps running at least a hunter and warlock so anything else is just gravy. Like a tank that can aoe stun or a shaman/monk healer that can aoe stun.
During TGP they said Blizzard said they couldn't do this during the event. They are very aware of it and the lack of a fix means they don't care outside of a tournament environment
Oshir not opening cages when you position him in this little corner AT HIS area, is common knowledge at this point and not worth mentioning. BUT. Him jumping into the ship where the last boss is, well... that's not intended, and showing this here is a nail to the coffin, so i have no clue what for that was shown /s
So, tanking by the stairs has always been the M+ way to do this (current), as it was also for Challenge Gold Mode.
Destro lock still doing 30% more than the other dps after getting a 20% aoe nerf smh🙄
