This is good stuff.
The video highlights so much of what i dislike about where the story is going. Before the Alliance had the advantage both in manpower and resources, with the Horde being an underdog. Then suddenly the Horde stopped having a lack of resouces, and went from being outnumbered to having an infinite amount of green-skinned Orcs to send to war, while literally using time travel to recruit more troops. The Alliance, on the other hand, has to pull valuable farmers and other laborers from their jobs to keep enough soldiers on the frontline. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
I'm loving the cinematics. Back when BfA was announced with the cinematic I assumed/predicted we'd probably get another one near release, and we did - and it was the longest one yet, so it still surprised me. Then, only a few months later, they came out with another 3 minute one.I really hope they're able to maintain this pacing - whether to introduce patches, or to replace end-of-raid cutscenes, or just fill in between patches, but I think they should start trying to make these ones available in-game.
but i don't want to help saurfang or forgive the horde.and much less having alliance characters turned neutral.please blizz don't do this.
The cinematics is a part of WoW that, I dare to say, is beloved by all players and those in BfA are absolutely amazing :)On the other hand I really wanted to see cinematic of this quality about Night elves retaking their lands with help from Worgen, because you know they've just lost a capital and most of their territory (yeah this argument was brought up many times and prolly is gonna be used a while longer...)
Hate that old orc... Honour ... Yeah burning Stormwind was so funny for him, still he is living with that. Fighting and killing alliance "dogs" during all these WOW expansions was ok and now he has his honor. Right.
So hey, it's only going to take them 40 - 60 years to make a 120 - 180 min movie :-(Maybe if they stock up their team...
Sylvanas : Doesn't mind killing her own troops and reanimate them as mindless corpse if it can buy her some time while ploting to destroy life itself out of anger.Saurfang : Would not kill his troops unless forced to, and would never raise them as undead, while trying to gain a better life for his hordies; even if it means using diplomacy."SaUrFaNg Is A tRaItOr AnD tUrNeD aLliAnCe ! LeT's HaTe HiM !"Unless you main Death Knight or Undead, I don't see how you can trust that kind of leader over one who compromise to HELP his people, and not turn them into mindless slaves...( But I main Death Knight so... >:D )
A year ? Sounds quite long to me. We only had a few months to make the 2min30 Ubisoft Ghost Recon cinematic trailer for E3 2016.Then again, we didn't really started from concept, even if I think the whole storyboard was scrapped at some point, effectively starting over everything. Then again ( again ), maybe we have a bit more people. However I'd think the Blizzard cinematic team is way more talented than us ;)Still sounds like a long time to me. Even with the shot on the Stormwind port and the quick intervention of Genn, it's still one closeted location, two characters interacting. They also shared assets between Battle for Lordaeron, Old Soldier, and Lost Honor, mudying the waters.
I've always liked Anduin's model in these new cinematics; with his in-game model, it's easy to forget that the guy's still a teenager, but this version of him really looks his age.
