Why would they adjust lockouts when they could just modify the loot distribution?
Isn't it only Trial of the Grand Crusader? Why would you change it at all
WTF are they talking about? Heroic Mode as a UI option wasn't even a thing until after Ulduar. Even then, heroic 10-man and regular 10-man ICC were the same lockout with heroic/not 25-man being its own lockout. Hopefully this doesn't mean that people who aren't even familiar with WOTLK are going to decide that I'm only allowed to run either 25-man naxx OR 10-man naxx and not both in the same week. They are a different set of rewards, different set of achievements, and a different intended difficulty level. I want a chance at the Black and Plagued protodrakes. Not forcing me to choose making progress one or the other in a given week. And definitely not earning both from only doing one version.
This is only an issue in Trial of the Grand Crusader which takes like 45 minutes tops. I don't see the point of changing this.
good, i dont want to have to run the same instance multiple times per week per character
Unrelated to this but im wondering about race change/faction change features being added?
If they put naxx10 and naxx25 on the same lockout people are gonna riot
RemovedI mean you don't need to raid all four raids if you don't want to, no one is forcing you!
Good change, glad they listening to feedback and not the minority that want to do the same raid multiple times a week on the same character to minmax like it was back in the day. Maybe will make TotC bearable.
People will also play them longer, when they won't be able to max out on week 1.
Yes, playing Phase3 longer because surely the bosses won't die quick anyway. Devs talking about this change got no clue of which raid they should talk about. This is only relevant for phase3 (Trial of the Grand Crusader), and even there, normal versions of that raid is a catch-up mechanic to players who didn't clear Ulduar on hardmode. The 4 versions of this raid is a blessing in disguide for casuals, and so many clueless players can't comprehend that fact until it is taken away from them.
