Is this some sort of trick to get me to go outside? I shall not fall for this!
We can hope that they are just saying it is later to have a better launch by some people not consistently logging in, haha. What am I kidding it is due to the fact they have not done this before and underestimated the time needed.
not available for sale until servers are up according to the blizz article
guess I don't get to play a bit before raid time :(
I honestly can't believe they don't have a sandbox environment to test this out.
Feel bad if someone thought setting aside time on a big patch day was smart in any way.
Heh, nobody remembers the 11hrs+ simple minor patches from back in 2005? Sometimes taking the whole day? I've got more than 20 "free days" compensation added on my account from that time when basically every maintenance was 6hrs or so of downtime and every patch was a guarantee for problems and extended downtime.
Between the normal pre-patch issues, add in the cloning service, ensuring mail items like BG tokens that only stay for 20-24hours aren't an issue, reactivating layering, setting up multiple back up systems on crashes as their log in servers become SWAMPED... these are the exact reason i never take off work on a launch day, and plan on pushing my new Belf pally main as hard as I can, before June 2nd. again dont sweat the launch day, it'll be much like this, if not worst.
every time there is anything new added, its always 3 more hours over what they say/ then people log in, it crashes an hour or so later the servers go down again. then after another hour. then you can log in and maybe play. next Tues there will be another extended down time.
The Classic WOW Experience
Add 3 hours to the scheduled maintenance
To be expected, from people that can't even get Shadowlands 9.1 out on time.
Lmao, their main message still states 3pm for me.
