I killed Ragnaros with Ragnaros. Talk about irony :D
Lil' Exorcist becomes a 9/10 on turn 3 if you wait to kill death rattles until then!
I thought I was dead in that Ragnaros fight. I was playing freeze mage and by the time Ragnaros appeared he had about 5 molten giants out. I had Ragnaros and Alexstrasza on the board and had one hit in with Alex which got rid of his armour. Fortunately I had a blizzard which bought me another turn and Ragnaros hit one of his giants. He hero-powered my Alex and played a Core Hound but, I had another blizzard and bought another turn with Rag killing another giant. Next turn he played another Core Hound and his hero power hit face.I top-decked a Flamestrike! Killed all of his giants and pinged his Core Hound. My Ragnaros went straight to the face and killed him :DNail-biting stuff!I do think they missed a trick not having some kind of emote when I play Ragnaros against himself, though...
It is probably a bug but Trump found out if you kill Majordomo Executus with Bane of Doom you skip the Ragnaros phase of the fight. Or it might have been a really weird fluke, I'm not sure what happened.
Pretty much, the heroic Garr is trivialised by Mass Dispel (and further trivialised by Circle of Healing), and heroic Ragnaros is trivialised by the infinite Fireball combo from Antonidas (unlike KT he doesn't take the turn away from you on the phase-change).Heroic Geddon poses a little more challenge, especially with at least 4 Living Bombs in his deck, but he more or less doesn't have a hero power if you use the right deck. I one shot him with a sort of zoolock/demolock deck, and it probably would've gone even smoother if I actually had Mal'Ganis (for every turn that he can't kill Mal'Ganis, that's a turn you don't need to worry about the hero power).
Hi All,I noticed playing KT with a taunt worked again here. With KT and a taunt, the AI minions won't attack.
There's a small error in your description of heroic Ragnaros. His hero power can actually hit face, not just minions as you wrote.
