A profession respec isn't needed, especially with the much easier talent trees this time around.
Linking the crafting order interface with the auction house would be an amazing step in the right direction.I find it tedious to interact with the system, I just want my bit of gear when I've got enough crests to do so.Let me select what I want, select the quality of mats and hit 'buy' from the AH, without having to link what I need in a chat somewhere or screenshot the items needed.Thank you!
Doubleagent did the leveling by dual gathering first.
"Part of the reason that that happens, we think, is that there's a whole bunch of people who would like to engage in the crafting system who aren't."Omg do they even view the orders listed? Blacksmith work orders are literally 3 people posting alloy crafts with 50g tip and no mats... some of these alloy crafts are 7k in mats. People are trying to scam crafters. Give us a filter in craft order interface to block out these clowns.
To me it seems they talk about things too much instead of solving them. Reminds me of idiots in parliament (choose your country) that always talk but never fix anything. They better change those clowns in development for someone who doesnt need 2 expansions or 4 years to fix Stuff.
ayo that mount looks sick!
Sounds like the development team that was tasked with dragonflights profession overhaul got gutted down to half a person early into DF, as blizzard believed they'd need little to no iteration or improvement to the system and well War within has that half person working on all the profession stuff such that there is no way they'd have the time to actually improve something. It is unfortunate that the prof overhaul was a great push in the right direction, then slide back with crafting order change of public orders not requiring mats, and then a stuck in the mud since. The cap on concentration element should probably be 0 to max takes 7 days to reach, while the current regen rate I've heard in alpha should stay what it is, just increase cap.An crafting order tab where the a crafter posts what they will craft given mats and gold such that players could just search that would be a massive improvement. I'm not a fan of the endless hawking spam in trade chat. . This reverse crafting order would also more easily show player buying what the expected outcome, a show not tell kinda thing.
Think they should remove the rank system on alchemy, enchanting and cooking.Right now on AH gold rank is 10-100 times more expensive then just buying a silver. So you just loose gold and mats everytime you don't gold rank it and the difference in stats you get is so small on some of it, that it is laughable, why people will spend so much more gold on a rank enchant or phial I don't mind it on gear because it translates into item level.
Glyphs in cata prepatch are on fire sold like 5k a day worth on small pop serverhttps://youtu.be/OCirSq7bl9Q
Archaeology - that is the correct spelling :)
The Knowledge Point acquisition rates need to be doubled! This will fix changing professions and catch up.
This got to be the worst interview to come out of a Blizzard dev in a while. It shows lack of understanding for the concerns of the community and no work being done to address the main issues with the system that have been talked about since DF launched. It sounds like someone is looking on an excel sheet where adding numbers of crafting orders being done shows the playerbase engages with the system and therefore it's a good system.
Still waiting for DF profession catch up xdddd
