do we know how much valor per dungeon/level?
the valor system nobody wanted
So to upgrade a two-handed weapon from 210 to 220 you would need a 4-weeks-worth of valor points?
So they are sticking to locking upgrades behind achievements. I suppose after all the causal players have left its time to timegate and milk the "Hardcore" players. Ever heard of the white ox story?
The one thing I didn't get so far:If I am able to beat all dungeons at +15 in time... why would I need a relativley weak 220 upgrade? Is it unlocked accound wide? More like a catch up for alts? These numbers seem weirdly off.
This does nothing to address the issue of PvP being vastly more rewarding. What a trash system.
So unless you are earning about 550-700 per key, this is a complete waste of time. Given you have to go fishing for loot instead of restoring a piece you already got ages ago. Bet you will have to keep re-farming the same pieces every season to upgrade again and here we go again Beta For Azeroth did nothing to improve a flawed by design system.
Imagine upgrading your 210 weapon for 3 weeks to get 216 and then getting 226 drop from vault.
So correct me if i'm wrong - if i have all 226 ivl gear then i can't upgrade any of them with valors?
Bad system, its punishing unlucky people. Ilvl is to low (also end of dungeon ilvl). Bad bandaid "fix", it fixes nothing at all.

For itemlevel 213 you need all 15 intime :DIt's a joke. Im at itemlevel 223 only with pugs, couldn't complete any higher then +13 with random groups. How you need upgrades to ilvl 213 on this high keys...
This whole new Valor Points system somehow gets worse and more incoherent each time we learn more about it. Not sure why Blizzard is so dedicated to reinventing the wheel. The old method of how Valor Points (or Badges) worked was fine. A lot of this isn't very helpful, since the Great Vault rewards will still be the only rewards worth much because they cap out at the high end beyond what Valor Points can upgrade and that's still obscenely random; this takes literal weeks to upgrade while at it.Hopefully 9.1 just gives us an item vendor and sets the maximum limit of what Valor Points can upgrade items to equal to the highest loot possible from the Vault, assuming you have the appropriate achievement to upgrade it that far. If cost is such a big deal, just make the higher end tiers cost more. Players still have to grind Mythic+, probably even more reason to, and nothing changes for engagement metrics. Done, solved.
finally a fair system where ı put every day play like 5+ hours minimum. It should be like this if you play/grind more you should get more rewards.
What annoys me is that I am going to have to get a new Inscrutable Quantum Device in order to upgrade it. I still have yet to get it myself as a drop and I have only seen it drop twice, both times they traded it to me because they either didn't need it (my raid's BM tank) or didn't know that it was good for them at the time (one of our warlocks, I don't pay attention to trinket ratings for classes other than my own so :\).
