As you casually ignore the TOS. We dont own any of our characters. I think what you meant to say was that our opinions on their game should matter more but this is blizzards game and pay to play it, period.
I got banned at 9pm and unbanned at 11pm GMT but I only play retail. I don't use consoleport or imorph. I just got randomly disconnected saying I was suspended for 6 months then 2 hours later it was overturned.
6 months for using a program that lets you change the race of your character...about the most harmless thing possible, and it nets you that long of a ban. The whole ToS nonsense aside, this is pretty ridiculous, since at most it should have been 1 week as a warning. You don't get any kind of advantage over other players, just lets you play your class as other races, but in typical Blizz fashion they overblow things out of proportion.
Well yea all of people using these programs have to be banned, it is what it is :) If you want transmog and look different there is other version of the game.
]How long will this ban period go? If somebodys on eu Not banned yet, is he fine then? Ofc iam asking for a friend
In the US, a company CANNOT update its terms without providing "sufficient" notice to customers: https://danashultz.com/2012/10/02/you-cant-change-online-terms-solely-by-email/ If a company endeavors to do so, the updated terms are not legally enforceable. Similarly, an American judge would be very unlikely to look kindly upon a sudden and unannounced (or poorly announced) change to a company's historic interpretation of its own terms. If you did not having a cheating bone in your body, and don't get your unjust ban overturned via "standard" appeals, don't forget that even though this is just a game, Blizzard is still bound by the legal code in the way it interacts with its paying customers. The EULA is a legally enforceable contract, and as such, the legal system has jurisdiction over Blizzard's interactions with you.
Congrats to blizzard!Let the bots farm as much as they want, but bann players for tmogging himself that no one else can see xd.
I just find it funny that one face of Blizzard tries to pretend like they care so much about the integrity of the game. On the other hand, they add WoW tokens to the store. As long as you're paying Blizzard to compromise the game's integrity, they have no problem with it. *rolleyes*
