I wonder if they banhammered that guy. It's hard to deny you did it when it's right at the top of raider.io's top keys.
SooooWhat was the problem to begin with ?
Simple delete the progress and give him suspensuion of 5 months for each time he did it so.. He will have 5 months to think about what he did. I mean i can just imagine his face by doing it .. He must rub his hands soo much cause he felt so powerfull !
What if he did all of that and then reported it to Blizzard?
I would be genuinely shocked if blizzard actually took action against anyone.
Well, now I'm going to work so...thanks? Also, since pvp isn't in the news, I'll try to get the word out. I've been hearing scores of players screaming about Augmentation being a tank spec, Frost mages, Balance, WW, Unholy DK, and Holy paladin all being elevated to God status with titan level tuning(maybe nerfing Retribution to B tier was too hasty if their competition is doing twice the damage).
No bans. Of course not. Same way they did not ban during the no affix week."Oh, but the guy is cheating the raider.io ranking!" As Blizzard said once about warcraftlogs/PI, this is a community problem, not Blizzard's. Same goes for community rankings.Blizzard just can't ban people because of this. This was a Blizzard's huge mistake for not testing stuff (and it took long enough for them to disable M+) and something that anyone could do without even wanting just by trying to do a key on reset day. As soon as you did a reset to lower your key, you were a "exploiter".Things that were way easier to check who exploited (and a genuine exploit) like that renowns/knowledge stuff, Blizzard didn't do anything, why would they start to ban people and probably ban many players that didn't do anything wrong."oh, easy, just ban people that were soloing! they're the exploiters". So anyone that just made a 5 man party to avoid this detection is ok? lol.
Doing it three times and with high keystone levels makes it pretty obvious that he was exploiting it on purpose.Of course, it's Blizzard's fault for shipping a bugged patch, but I wouldn't be against banning exploiters or at least removing anything they gained from it.
This was such an easy to reproduce bug that it’s almost unbelievable. All it took was entering, starting, and resetting. Something many would do to lower a key level. Then three tries is attempting to reproduce the bug and making sure that is what is causing it. The progress will be undone and any rating will be removed. Idk if raider.io will update properly, but that’s an issue with relying on third party tools for ratings anyway.
I love how EU is fully down since over 4 hours and WoWHead sees no reason to post news to that topic :D
