There are plenty of unguarded Lumber Piles in Warsong Lumber Camp, especially the southern side of it. Look for them at 88,62 and its surroundings, the piles there were much easier to collect. You'll get 1-2 lumber per pile.

I found it easy to solo it alone, but i wouldnt try to kill the peons near the bad stacks of the lumber. I justed looked around building and in nooks, and I found all I needed without having to be in much combat.

This quest starts from Architect Nemos, as a sort of followup to A Helping Hand. However, it is still obtainable without doing A Helping Hand - I advise you do the pre-requisite, for the extra experience. I believe it gives a little Exodar rep as well, if that's what you're after.

This quest is well-combined with Agents of Destruction and Vile Satyr! Dryads in Danger!.

The Warsong Lumber is stacks of boards - they vary in size and number collected from the piles. There are two sizes of stacks - one has about 5 pieces of lumber, looking at it. This only loots one piece, however. The other has about ten visible, and loots two.

The Satyrnaar Fel Wood is 3 small logs - they're scattered around Satyrnaar, and really aren't hard to find. They're usually stacked behind some satyr, however, so get ready to fight.

The turn-in NPC is an Ancient that wanders Forest Song - he goes all over the place, so you may have to run a bit. Just make a wide circle of the camp, until you see your quest mark on the mini-map.

in the Warsong Lumber Camp 85,59, they are large piles of wood.
The best is if you do this quest together with the "Agents of Destruction" because you have to kill a lot of Horde guys to get to the wood piles.

The Warsong Lumber drops in stacks of 2. This is odd, since you have to collect 15. It wouldn't let me take the last pile when I had 14, so I dropped one from my stack. I wonder why they didn't just make this quest 16 stacks of wood.

I'm a lvl 60 just doing these quests for rrep, but I can't do this one, as it won't let me pick up the wood. I've dropped the quest and picked it up twice, and nothing.

This quest is really easy to do if you are a Rogue. All you have to do is stealth deep into the Warsong camp, then you will find stacks of wood (in ones and twos) laying around with no one guarding them. Just pick 'em up and stealth back out.

This quest is a great one. Easy, good XP for the kills make it all the sweeter. Bit of a surprise to have the peons running for help though. Solo-ing it as a LVL 30 priest and having a good time of it. I may just come back afterwards to grind for a while. A shield spell, then pound away, easy.

This was a very frustrating quest for me, not the task itself but the fact that everytime I tried to get it done there were loads of horde players in the camp which would kill me straight away. died twice just getting to the camp via the road so I would try the back way listed above. I got all the items I needed by going right after i entered the camp, killed the ones at the first couple of tents, there are two at each one or both will be hidden. lvl 30 hunter with lvl29 cat solo easy without horde around. if the horde are there wait or take a group.

The satyr part is quite easy:
tloc: 81,48
3 wooden stocks, best with The Lost Chalice

The orc camp is on the south
tloc: 90,59
Sneak in to the camp. On both sides of the building (outside) you will find the stocks of wood. For the orcs there is another quest i forgot the name of. Also south of this camp there is an overwatch.

If you can't sneak in then you have to fight your way in .

Did the quest, no problem, went back to Forest Song to turn in the quest to Gnarl. Wouldn't interact with me, but the pile of 15 logs disappeared from my pack, the pile of 5 is still there. No interaction at all, has the quest marked complete, but can't turn it in.

I can't get Gnarl to acknowledge me either, and I also have all the wood. I asked the GM because I thought it was a glitch in the system, but they said it wasn't. Does anyone know why we can't get Gnarl's attention? I'd really appreciate an answer. Thanks in advance.

Just did this quest, I'd reccomend grabbing Agents of Destruction and The Lost Chalice, as they're along the way. The bigger stacks of wood inside the camp give 2, and the smaller ones give 1. Peons are tricky here because when they aggro they run for help from other mobs, so be careful there (6v2 at one time, not really fun)

Quest worked fine for me, once I doubled back and got the satyr wood and the chalice, had no problems.

Well i just did this quest and i found that the Satyrnoor fel is around location 80,49 and warsong lumber is around location 83,51. When you are looking for the warsong lumber be careful because you will need to fight peon and they run a get help. Do these two quests with it also Lost Chalice and Agents of Destruction. I did this quest at lvl 30 and everything was green to me. If you need any help im on the Thorium Brotherhood realm. Char name is Kassaree Good luck and i hope this helps

I found a couple of stacks of twos and threes in the lumber camp that were unattended. Near one of the cranes. I'd take them, wait for them to respawn then go back for more. The sooner you go back the less there is, so collect some from elsewhere and give it a chance to pile up again.

I think the problem some of you are having with Gnarl ignoring you could be due to the fact that you have to practically stand on top of him to get him to talk to you...

if you are a druid or rogue this quest is just pure easy. you go in prowl or stealth if the wood is being guarded you can just pwn them easy then grab the wood repeat this process till you have all the wood you need and done.

I had the issue of getting him to talk to me. Best advice was the "practically have to stand on top of him". I put myself under his feet. It worked!

If you're lvl 24, best to find some help, take one or two others with you. You could probably manage on your own, if you can draw out mobs singly, or sneak in and out. Or you could just go as far as you can, die, come back and go a little further. Repeat until finished. No shame in dying, it's just irritating as heck. Makes me so mad, I want to slaughter every mob in sight, but I usually wait till I'm bigger than they are. I hate leaving my bones everywhere I've been.
If you can, and if you've collected the quests, collect everything you're allowed to that's in sight. I went in for the Chalice of Elune at Satyrnaar several levels ago, saw the "cage" for a character I needed to release for another quest, plus all the Fel Wood laying around and blew them off. (I was chicken.) Stupid. Always think ahead, make things easier for yourself. Why go into danger twice if you don't have to. GL

The stacks in Warsong Lumber Camp are easy to find. And notice, some have 1 and some have 2 and you can tell the difference before you ever pick them up. The 2 stacks are twice as big! =)

I have been to the Warsong lumber camp and after killing umteen orcs still have not located any lumber. I even looked around after I died once but didn't see anything. No, I wasn't in the labor camp. Could this quest be bugged?

I got this quest from Architect Nemos, not Gnarl.

Gnarl gave me, "Reclaiming Felfire Hill."

I can't pick up the fifteenth piece of wood! It will only let me pick up 2 at a time, and won't let me pick up the fifteenth piece of wood. I'm very frustrated. Is this a bug or am I just retarted?

I was able to pick up this quest from Architect Nemos a Draenei at 86,44 in Forest Song. The lead in to this was "A Helping Hand" that I picked up from a Draenei NPC in Astraanar.

I spotted "Gnarl" and he gave me the quest "Reclaiming Felfire Hill"

So is Reclaiming Felfire Hill a new quest? It looks like this little camp of Draenei at Forest Song is a new addition and the quest "A Shameful Waste" has been moved to Architect Nemos. Gnarl now gives the new quest.

Hopefully someone can learn from my mistake -
The warsong LUMBER camp is located directly below forest song where you pick up this quest (entrance is 89,49). Don't run down to warsong LABOUR camp near the entrance to the barrens and spend an hour cursing. The piles of warsong lumber look like a pile of lumber, as opposed to the fel wood which looks like a pile of logs.

I found a stack of Satyrnaar Fel Wood just inside the entrance to Satyrnaar on each side, killed 3 demons, got each stack, saw a battered chest by the first little tent thing and killed the demon garding it - there was s'more Fel Wood right there.... went back toward the entrance and the other stacks had already respawned. Picked those up and got out of there. Level 24 hunter. I'm gonna wait till I level up before I try going into the Warsong Lumber Camp....

At first I didn't knew where to look for in Satyrnaar, the piles happen to be very small and lying underneath trees, they dont look like the ones at the Warsong camp.

Also what I figured out, to the LEFT and the RIGHT of the entrance, theres a stack on each side, I gathered them, killed a demon and sat do drink a mana potion. After less then 10 seconds the piles respawned and I could loot them again! Then I waited another 10 sec and they re-appeared!

So basicly if you encounter this as well just stand at the entrance and wait for them to come back.

Welcome to Forest Song, <class>. Where you see tents, there will one day be buildings, but such ambitions require a steady stream of building materials. I cannot bring myself to order our workers to fell any of the ancient trees of this grove, but our neighbors to the south and west have no such reverence for the forest.

We shall relieve the Warsong loggers of their excess, and reclaim some of the tainted wood from the satyr stronghold to the west. Bring the wood to Gnarl, who will purify it for our use.
