I would recommend not grinding for this item, when your done with the Lost Rigger Cove area, don't bother going back for this. I had to kill 261 pirates for this =(

Item drops regardless if you have completed the quest before or not, so if you get this more than once just destroy them, you can only take the quest a single time.

According to Wowhead this has a 12% chance to be contained in a Pirate's Footlocker, which has a 5% droprate from any Southsea Dock Worker, Southsea Freebooter, Southsea Swashbuckler or Southsea Pirate.

You can say that it has a droprate of 0.6% from any of the upwritten mobs. Or you'd get an average of 1 for every 167 pirates you kill.

That being said I don't encourage anyone in trying to farm this item, if it doesn't drop while you're doing the quests there.

After killing 1,000+ pirates over 2 days, I paged a GM to be sure this quest hadn't been removed. She said:

1) It still exists
2) It may not be a mob drop.

So anyone have any idea where to actually get this thing?

Here's what the GM said: "In looking up said quest It has come to my attention that perhaps it is not dropped by a mob and may be it can be found.
We are not allowed to give out exact hits maybe try sending more tells in general to see if someone knows of the quest and how to find/aquire it."

Well it is simple. Kill 70 guys and you get a pirate's lockbox. Get 50 Lockboxes and you get this. So... kill 3500 guys and u get this quest. Okay?

It is a item that "may" be in the "Box of Rations" that is a reward for completing the "An Ordiary Egg" Quest which is a redoable quest.

You Don't need to Kill anything to get this.

I cant take the quest it gives, says i dont meet the Requirements.
It requires lvl 40 and thats all it says.
I'm 49.

im on my 5th character playing up to 60, which means it's my 5th time doing quests around southsea pirates and this thing dropped on my first kill. I thought blizz added a new quest or something since ive never seen it before lol... kick ass 5k and 1G+@ there w/o doing anything

Got one today. Cannot open it as it tells me that I do meet the requirements. Which requirements (i'm lvl 49)? I cannot turn it in anywhere. Can anybody help?

I have gotten this about 3 times. I beleive I did it once at a lower level. Am I being told I dont fit the requirements because of that?

Seems an number of people are asking and no one has answered them yet.

I am lvl 60. So what requirements dont I meet? Do I need anything else to make the schedule work? Last time I believe I talked to someone before finding the schedule.

I got 4 or so of these ships schedules dropped in the last 2 days in the pirate lock boxes. I did the quest the first time and after that i no longer 'met the requirements'. so i think that if you've done it before it will not allow you to do it again. i'm trying to sell them but no one seems to want them :\

Was getting up my lockpicking skill and killed the pirates afterwards, first I looted an epic mail armor and later I got 2 of these in the boxes. Im lucky.

that doesent make any sence, i odnt meet requirments... soo weird if its so rare you should be able to do it twice... grrrrrrr if anyone has a good and for sure answer to this would be great...
one more tihng we know it exists so please stop sayiing '' i got this and this and this'' cause EVERYONE ON THOTBOT DOES THAT ON EVERY POST sorry but we need a solution

this also show when you need to complete another quest before hand, or you need specific reputation level to start it. It's possible you need ot complete the other pirate quest befoer doing that one.

i got it with farming the boxes for the map q and doing the other south sea q's and i had no probs what so ever hmmm no clue what to tell you all

The chance of getting one of these ship schedules on any particular mob is 0.61% if you calculate the probability based upon the data provided by thottbott. This means that 1 out of 164 mobs will drop a ship schedule

This formula that I used is: (prob of a pirate dropping pirate box x prob of one of those boxes contains the ship schedule).

its all about luck, ofc. you can get item, and you can farm these as long as you want it, but ... no item for you. :P

when you do quests in this area, chance of getting item is more higher, than just farming. i think this, cause when got quests, got ship item and fragments for map, that leads to burried ship in sands. there you get 2 blue items. one is someones foot, mace and some ring, for me.

Been farming for it for 3 days now, and got the sceduale twice in 2 kills! to bad its not repeatable lol. Anyway totally worth farming for all the xp killing the pirates plus in the footlockers i found a blue mace, vendor trash, some wierd key that u go to a chest that u open and automaticly get a green item :), and these three map segments wich you can go get a treasure chest in southern tanaris( Btw the treasure chest quest is repeatable so u can have say 3 completed maps go to that beach in souther tanaris use 1 map, get the chest and pepeat :) lol) Happy Farming.

I have had a simular time killing a bunch of Freebooters and had 1 drop oe tonight. Guess I got luck. Just can't seem to finish killing enough Swashbucklers or hats to finish another quests, always seem to die at the wrong time

This quest does not appear to be repeatable. I have been AEing pirates for days, and I did this quest once. Doing it a second time gives me a "you do not meet the requirements for this quest" and won't let me right click the item to activate it.

I was teaming with a guildy killing some pirates, she got it from a mob. Later on she got a pirate box with a schedule inside it too. She transferred be box to me with the schedule but... I didn't got the schedule, it wasn't inside the box when I opened it so they aren't transferable that way!
