As a hunter (yes, i REALLY am), I'm really starting to get pissed off that every time a new item is found, some dumbass posts "hunter <insert item type here>" and continues to make the rest of us look like idiots. I can very readily admit that there are many hunters out there who have no %^&*ing clue how to play their class, what makes them effective, and the like, but there are still many of us who do actually know how to accomplish something with a hunter besides !@#$ing up and rolling on $%^&. Hunters are a difficult class due to their gear being fought over with rogues and shamans, and weapons being claimed by warriors, paladins, or rogues once more. Please, leave the hunters alone for once in your lives, and those of you who post "hunter <--->" on non-hunter items, go play Guild Wars, you irritating bastards. In regards to this weapon: helpful for the hunter quest indeed, but i would much prefer Malicious Axe or Barbarous Blade if I'm going two-handed. Both are much more beneficial to my ranged combat, and kiting is how you win in the hunter epic quest. Thank you, have a nice day, and please keep the flames to a low boil.

everyone says that this could be very good for the final hunter epic quest but it lacks agility. GET IT ENCHANTED THEN. and this is coming from a person that thinks enchanting is a waste of money most of the time.

Yep. thats right. Got even demonslaying enchant for that. Now im trying to figure out is that really better than 2x bone slicing hatchet with +15 enchant.

I see the traditional "hunter weap" "no" "stop saying hunter weap" stuff in here, but honestly, this weapon is so hilarious, it's a weapon for anybody. I mean, it's a freaking pitchfork! Of madness!

I agree it has awesome atk power against demons, maybe helpful later in outlands, but honestly, I don't know of anyone who should have this but hunters who haven't yet done their epic quest. If they want it that is. It is extremely helpful for the epic quest, and unless you fight solely demons, the stats are crap compared to what warriors etc. could be getting. Yes, it does look funny, and would be fun to run around with, but I don't think the graphic is worth screwing over a hunter who could put it to use in the future.

i will agree that this pitchfork isnt a bad hunter weapon but seriously how many people "must" have this weapon...0 this is more of a fun item that bliz put in, yes it is very usefull for the hunter epic quest (and to the person who said 117 attack power against demons is useless u have no clue)but to the people who say F the person who says this is a hunter weapon, hunters are usually fought by other classes for any weapon in the game that they can use (ive seen people post that items are non hunter when they are class specific for the hunter) so please give them and us a break were just are tired of people saying that bows are on the same priority list for hunters as they are for rouges/warriors and that polearm/swords/axes should go to palladin/warrior/rouge, then to hunters

it's the most riddiculus looking weapon in the game. From expirience I can say no one wants this.. it's ugly, and it's not usefull for anything really atm.

For hunter epic q... certainly a bit of a help, but seriously, you DO get better easily...

I however, can not see a warrior getting the slightest use out of this piece of junk, do you guys? :S

as this baby dropt the first time, no one wanted it, caus its realy ugly, just one Wary said :" I would eat my sword if i would see a Tauren with a hat and this thing, like a "farmer cow" so i got it just for fun, the guy didn�t eat his sword eather ~~
After fighting some deamons with it, i remarkt the difference to my 2 Bone Axes with the +15Agi enchant, the Damage is much better. After i said it to other Hunters in my Raid they all started taking this thing fpr the Epic Quest ^^. Its quite good, a Demon Slayer Enchant on it and here we go ^^. The "fork" isnt a "Hunter Weapon" but its quite good for the Epic Quest, so better pass it to Hunters if they realy need it for the Quest. You cann make a shard out of other blue items ~~

It's a fun novelty item. The only practical use I can imagine is for hunters and the epic quest. So if your guild comes across this and a hunter wants it for his/her quest...I'd say you're being pricks to not hand it over. Every bit counts. :P

That said, I just acquired it tonight on my hunter. Now I just need the leaf. :P

I would say this is a hunter item for only the demon quest, realy nice demon damage bonus other wise I see no use unless you are dueling a warlock pet.

Im a 60 warrior with a few pieces of crit gear, no epics. i got this pitchfork cuz nobody wanted it so i could have some fun in battlegrounds with it. i equipped somelowbie cloth overalls a leather hat and this pitchfork. kept all my other things on, rings etc and i was hitting like a truck still. crits for over 800. Not bad if ya just wanna have a blast while horde are winning in every *!@#ing AB

Most raiding hunters use Demonic Runes during long fights.

This would be great for Demonic Rune farming in Felwood.

My SECOND farmer PvP movie demands it, I'm now destined to loot it on my rank 14 warrior. Didn't get high enough crits with the gray 10 DPS fork.

i had this way back when doing the hunter epic quest with a demon slaying enchant worked ok for the first boss in searing then i changed to windfurrys

Any class that can weild this is welcome to roll on it equally. This is a horrible weapon for the Hunter's epic quest. Just get yourself +Spirit gear with +Arcane damage. You'll be able to infinitly kite with arcane shot as long as a mob doesnt spot you running and tag you with your aspect on.

You all must remember from Diablo 2 there is a rare drop called "The Pitchfork Of Madness" which does increased damage to demons 300 (i think it was that much) and that's most of the reason why blizz made this

yeah, this is for hunters. The demon fighting + a demonslayer enchantment makes this perfect for the epic quest

great for hunters doing their epic quest, though i think most hunters who can farm ZG for this might have their epic quest done already. like the grelocks cleaver though, the insane attack power coupled with a 25 agility chant would make this a hunter's wet dream when it comes to a demon boss, such as in dire maul or in perhaps an upcoming instance involving demons (medivhs tower perhaps?)
