Oblivion's Touch is probably the coolest looking wand in game and a must have for wand collectors.
Downside is that it's so far only obtainable for alliance since it drops of the last boss spawned on paladins quest line to obtain epic mount in scholomance.

Don't have the wand... but I suggest looking at the range of the wand. It probably only works at close range.

It is Oblivion's TOUCH after all. Although a close range wand kind of may not be worth it, the bonus for int is decent.

Apparently the 'summoned' boss in Rattlegore's room can be 'summoned' by either a Pally or Shammy doing the epic helm quest within Scholomance.

The fight lasts 15-25 minutes(at least it seems to take that long XD) and your party must battle waves of spectral elites before the Death Knight Darkreaver boss appears. This is the one who has a chance to drop this sweet sweet wand.

I've been in a group that has killed the Death Knight Darkreaver two times now, each with a different shaman(or two) trying to complete their epic helm quest. The first time, Death Knight Darkreaver dropped Necromantic Band;

Necromantic Band
Binds when picked up
Unique
Finger Miscellaneous
Requires Level 57
Equip: Restores 8 health per 5 sec.

The second time I've seen Death Knight Darkreaver die, he dropped Specter's Blade;

Specter's Blade
Binds when picked up
One-Hand Dagger
51 - 96 Damage Speed 1.80
(40.8 damage per second)
Requires Level 57
Equip: +45 Attack Power when fighting Undead.

no sweet wand yet, but the sweetness of this wand(I'm a warlock, with a graphic like that, it just begs to be won by me) will have me always ready to help a shammy kill this guy in hopes of a drop.

So everyone is aware, the wand works correctly on the Test server. Shoots a purple shadow skull at the target.

Anyone have any imput on how a horde player would be able to get ahold of this wand? Sounds as if the only way to spawn the NPC is with the paladin epic quest.. and well Horde doesn't have paladins..

Edit: Just found the anwser to my question. Way to spawn him for horde is to find some crazy shaman who's actually trying to do the worthless epic helm quest.

This wand droped for me when I did the Shaman SkyFury Helmet quest. We had to kill the Knight after a couple waves of non elite and elite ghosts.

He has to be summoned by paladin with epic mount quest. After Charger is obtained, you can keep going back and getting the quest over and over to kill this guy for loot, at which point you can start killing him in raid instead of 5-man groups.

I just got this wand (Nice reward for doing a good deed for a paladin :D )

Anyway, it doesn't seem to be working at all, giving a "too far away" error everytime I try to shoot. Anyone else having this problem?

Not only does it look awesome but the +11 int on the wand is awesome.
And since it's a wand you can swap it with the Mana Channeling Wand for longer fights.

This can be done by a shaman with a nice reward too. (quest item makes the guy show up).
