I didn't use any of my talent points until around level 40 because I thought that talent decisions were irreversable and permanant... and I was scared to make a mistake. ;)
Same here! Though my way of thinking didn't from from RO, but rather from Diablo II. I rememer back in that game pouring skill points into my paladin's fire/cold/lightning resist skills only to read later that more than one point in them was good reason to restart a character (due to insane diminishing returns).
Thankfully, I had only gotten to Lvl23 before my roommate was like, "WTF, why aren't you using those? Just respec later." Music to my ears!

I can go on for days.. im still a noob too
I didn't hear GTG until outlands, like, two days ago. I thought to myself, "The hell? Why would you make a group then leave?" Apparently I'm a level 62 noob.

I:
Didnt buy any moves cos i didnt have enough money.
I didnt hav enough money cos every day i would go to the AH and buy a new weapon, not on what its stats were like but on wot it looked like.
I didnt even know about talents.
I didnt do anything but do WSG (lvl 24) when it first came out.
So that character got deleted. Then i spent about 3 months playing characters to lvl 6, deciding id done all i could on it, get bored, then make another. Until i found my lurvly paladin.

I :
Vendored every green I got and thought I was getting rich off of it
On my warlock (first character), didn't think lifetap was useful (& rarely used it) well into my 40s; I was levelling destro, as well!
Once got bored (this must have been at < lvl 13-15 ), ran from barrens thru. 1k needles (terrifed of the level skull jaguars), somehow ended up at the Ferelas FP and spent *all* the money I had on me (5 silver) to buy a ride back to Crossroads...
Didn't know about Auto-Run
Didn't know you could eat and drink at the same time for a long, long time
Avoided instances because I didn't want to play with other people I didn't know
But at the same time the game was so much bigger and more exciting then. I got such a rush out of getting my level 40 (warlock) mount... Got it from Ratchet, and ran (on foot!) to Stonetalon where my b/f was levelling his rogue so he could see me when I first mounted up.
(In contrast, when I got my flying mount, my thoughts were "this is so cool!!... why is it so slowwwww ...")
I almost miss being a noob.
Edited to add: I forgot this one! When I first went to Undercity, I spent over half an hour (no joke) wandering around Ruins of Lordaeron listening forlornly to trade char while trying to find the actual city--somehow the path through the castle was too much for me, and whenever someone came and I tried to follow in they were inevitably on a mount and I lost track of where they went! Stupid Undercity.

I didn't learn about the auction house until around level 40. And I rolled on lots of hunter maces. And I took gear based entirely on how much armor it had, since I had no idea what stats were good for hunters.
Got curious and wanted to explore the WPL at Level 9. 'Nuff said.Haha. When my paladin was just starting WPL I saw a little level 8 shaman run by me at The Bulwark. Didn't even make it out of sight before he got mauled by a bear.

Walked all the way from Silvermoon to Undercity (through WPL/EPL) at lvl15 because I didn't know about the portal. I also didn't know about auto-run. Half an hour and a few corpse runs later I was almost at UC and my finger hurt from constantly pressing "W".

I just remembered more...
(In addition to my previoius post)
.... I didn't know that I can repair my gear. So instead I bought new ones or wore ones I picked up til I hit STV
... You now when you click a target and its YELLOW. Well I was the dumb@ss who thought these guys are going to attack me. So I either tried to avoid them or I had to kill them.
... First word that came out of my mouth when I saw IronForge was "WOW!" and I was afraid that if I fell in the pit I would die.
... When I finally had gold my pockets I ended up buying a bag slot for the bank .. what was it 1g for slot? i was like ok thats cool .. ill deal with that? but when it started going up I was like wtf? 25g?? c'mon now!! I never really had to use them too cuase I always had space so I bought them for just in case matters..I didn know then i can put bags in the actual slots lol!!
... I didn't know anything about BG until one day I decided to click on these two doods walking around IF and it had a bubble which means they wanted to talk to you? So I didn't even read blah blah and I just click join a battle! ( I was like cool!! I'm on there side now ) .. Five minutes later I get this pop up to Enter a battle ( scurd me btw ) and I joined! lol After the first one I was trying to find the doods again so i can join that battle again and i couldnt find em walking around aymore! so i said "F" it..
... I thought Kara was the big freakin DRAGON in DUSKWOOD!
Ok there will be more btw..
I'm sure I'll think of more

Begged higher levels to let me ride their mounts.
rofl
my priest didn't eat until level 30-something. i thought cooking used up one of my two professions, and i didn't know about food buffs.
i attacked a skull-level tauren in elewyn forest. i didn't know what it was at the time, but it was big and shooting blue things at everyone. i thought it wouldn't see me standing up on the hill, so i tried to smite it. rezzed & tried again two more times... it 1-shot me everytime so i gave up.
