Your job is to take hold of the Ornate Mirror and use the beam of light to kill the vampires. Use buttons 1-4 to adjust how far away the light is from you and then sweep it back and forth to set the mobs on fire. Be sure to kill the Carved Tricksters (which appear with arrows over their heads) or else they'll stun you and force you to drop the Ornate Mirror.

Hold Ornate Mirror and move the light with arrows.
The quest is kinda boring and slow and even if you fail to burn Carved Trickster with arrow above his head, you can just reenter the Ornate Mirror

Part 1
Best way to enter the FP is taking the "Sanctuary of Mad" flight path you got at the end of the Revendreth campaign and head up the elevator and towards the WQ where you'll cross the bridge which can be seen on the map (coordinates below for those with it). Once you enter the court you'll head left up the set of stairs where the Ornate Mirror is located on the right. You will know you are in the right spot as it will dismount you.

Part 2
You will click on the Ornate Mirror to start controlling it. Once in you will have the following options available

#1 = Left
#2 = Up
#3 = Down
#4 = Right

Once you start moving the beam it'll continuously move on its own and you adjust how it moves with those four buttons. Periodically as you are doing the quest you'll get a notification "A Carved Trickster has appeared." You can spot the Carved Trickster as they will have a bouncing arrow above their head. You will want to have your mirror beam focus these when they spawn. If you ignore them they will eventually find a spot and shine a mirror back at you which will eject you from the Ornate Mirror and you have to get back in.

Once you hit 100% you'll be ejected and finishing the World Quest.

Spots that I noticed the Carved Trickster spawning from was the bottom right door under the castle, from the stairways on the left and one underneath the mirror.

/way #1525 38.33, 39.73 Ornate Mirror

Note: Used Zone # since Blizzard used Revendreath multiple times and TomTom can't find the zone correctly.

Rebinding my Left, Up, Down, and Right arrows to 1, 2, 3, and 4 helped tremendously.

Hi all

On This WQ You need to jump on Ornate Mirror and burn mobs until 100%. Use 1,2,3 and 4 on keyboard to move light.

The entire time I was under attack, by some unknown enemy. It killed me. I remounted and finished, even though I was again under attack.

I found this totally counter-intuitive. I think the idea is to challenge players, by using a set of keys that they have never seen before. Also, it appears as though this is not an instance, that is, someone else was causing the targets to burst into flames. In fact it was obvious that two other players were incinerating the same targets that I had.

My movement keybinds did work with this: (W = up, S = back, Q (left strafe) = left, E (right strafe) = right but it was thanks to the above comment that I was actually able to use them successfully "Once you start moving the beam it'll continuously move on its own." You only need to hit a direction button once and then again to change the direction.

I always wondered if there was an achievement or anything if you do this quest perfectly by killing the Carved Tricksters before any of them get you. Nope, there sure isn't.

Remember that you can freely move your camera around. Most people just hit stuff that is right in front of you, contesting your kills/progress. Don't fall for that. Instead, look to your left and find large groups of enemies just ready for the crispening. That way you can complete this annoying WQ without lots of control hassle and not trickster spawning.

So, another quest that's a pain to do if there are others doing it also! Shadowlands world quests are horrible!

w,a,s,d for up,left,down,right work just fine here. The default keys they have you use are confusing.

WHY does this quest exist? It literally gives you the maximum humanly possible opposite of the FUN.
