29.11.2016, 16:53 Server time EU; The quest rewards are not equal for elemental shaman. The frost relic (Deep Cave Ice Crystal) is item level 830 while the storm relic (Trueflight Arrow) is 855. I suspect this is a bug.

This is a small scenario with awesome rewards. There are four parts:

First, you have to clear Promenade from nighfallen defenders (that means you have to slay ALL common mobs on the cenral alley, then slay Vanguard
Second task is killing Ancient Shieldguard, it spawns, when all defenders are dead
Cross the central bridge and slay defenders of the Concourse, there will be no any bosses or elite guys
Fine, you have to activate beacon (all enemies will be teleported out of bridge, where they fall down and dead) now and turn in the quest to Khadgar(

If you pick up this quest but don't do it immediately your Masquerade costume for Suramar City won't be available for use.

I did this as a troll character!

Just to put this into perspective:
- night elves are troll-descended
- they waged a devastating war against existing troll kingdoms, shattering troll civilization
- they consider themselves superior to the other mortal races

And I took this bunch to attack one of their old cities (the inhabitants of which are as insufferable).

I felt like a Zulu leading white South-Africans attacking London.

The first time I got this, it was horrible. The "Good Guys" wouldn't attack anything and leave me alone, unaided.

Then when I died, there would be no body to go back to, so I had to take the rez along with the extra damage and debuff.

However, today I was able to complete it without any trouble.

While this quest is in your questlog, it appears that you also can't successfully get into a Withered Training scenario, although the ancient mana goes away anyway and the quest is no longer available.

This scenario is of current build bugged and unstable for loads of players, including myself.

First bug was that I was kicked out of the scenario and it resetted, so I had to go back and clear mobs.
Then the second bug was a evading Duskwatch Battle-Magus who has to be cleared to progress the attack...
Then I died from pulling too much with my Sunfire (balance druid) and it reset the scenario AGAIN (sadface).

I found that really sticking close to the NPCs helped me not being kicked out. Tyrande Whisperwind tells you to mount up with them at one point, and not doing so would get me kicked out. Also, stay at the upper levels, you're not descending downstairs after the first wave is cleared.

The evading mob is not much I could do about than wait and try again later. I hope this quest gets polished a bit in the future.

This whole Insurrection questline is kinda blech if you do it late (after it's been out for awhile). I would have hoped it would be phased so you could see it advance as you complete the quests no matter when you start it. But instead it's some kind of weird hybrid/mistake. You see the end result of this particular quest way before you get this far (i.e. the promenade being won, etc). So while you're doing the early quests you see the mobs around as if you'd done the later quests.

This whole thing is just real disappointing. I love to see a story unfold and you really can't from doing this. No idea why they didn't use phasing like they do everywhere else.

Anyone having trouble with evading mage I feel sorry for! I'm playing Elemental Shaman and I summoned my Earth Elemental and the magenetics immediately attacked and started following him allowing me to finish the scenario. Hope this helps someone out!

This was soooo satisfying, no kill numbers, no items to grab, just charge in with an army and KILL EVERYTHING YOU SEE! So gratifying to destroy these fools after playing cat and mouse with them for countless hours!

If you get the Battle Magus NPC that evades, just mount up, run back about 50 yards (make sure the mob and your party fade out), then come back. By the time you get back, your party will have killed the magus and things will get back to normal.

Rogues! This is a great place to farm a bit of pickpocketing. You can farm the entrance, drop the q, restart. Rinse and repeat as many times as needed \o/

Astoundingly bugged. Enter the scenario and the city is empty. Get to the harbor and get bumped from the scenario. Simply not doable.

Have logged in and out several times for same result.

Very Buggy, but make sure to help your NPC allies from the very beginning of the scenario. Kill all the enemies to help allow the allies pass thru and get to the next stages. Just keep killing! And place the beacons when it asks you too! After that, it was pretty straight forward and didnt have much trouble. But running ahead and not killing the enemies in the beginning is what causes the "entering scenario" over and over.

QUEST PHASING BUG: DO NOT start off by riding your mount through the purple-veiled entrance of the Nighthold court area, or you may experience improper phasing; Instead, wait for your defender allies to tell you to mount with them "through the concourse." (If they tell you to mount up at all, really... I did this quest wrong about 3 times so they may have just been telling me to hurry up.)

Make sure you defeat (1) Promenade defenders' forces and (2) the Battle Magus, prior to entering the top level of the Promenade. Then, march with your troops into the Promenade's top level (/way Suramar 47.2,61.0).

Hand in your quest to Khadgar (at /way Suramar 54.91,72.79) and continue straight into the Promenade upper-floor circle, where you will activate the telemetry beacon which is located up top on the left. Then turn right back around and hand the quest in to Khadgar. Congrats, you're all finished with what could've been a wild goose-chase of a quest!

Now you can return to Thalyssra in the cave of Shal'Alan, revive another refugee and take your new portal back to Astravar Harbor to once again see Khadgar atop of those same steps.

* Be careful about flying on your mount when it allows you because the quest phasing may take you out of flight near the promenade at any moment and send you falling to your death. It's best to wait until you have handed in your quests to Khadgar before taking flight on your mount.

Thalyssra managed to get all 3 to agree to the same thing? I am impressed with her skills of negotiation.

Alright hero, Liadrin is already marching on Suramar. Join her forces.

Tyrande will flank the city defenders and meet you deeper in.

The Nightborne will bring up the rear and hold the territory for us.

Oculeth and I will move the Kirin Tor forces to Astravar Harbor. With luck, we shall see you on the other side.
