If your disguise wears out, simply right click the necklace again and go under disguise again. Make sure you arent in combat.

It is worth noting that the food he sells is NOT what you use to complete the quest, even though it is the same name 'bowels and brains'.

Spent almost 10g trying to get ghouls to eat the food and not using the quest item.

You don't have to target the ghoul. Just be near one and set the bowl down. The ghoul will come running. And yes, Wowhead says this is Alliance only but I just did it on my Orc, so it's available for both factions.

Since I was attacked while feeding the ghouls my disguise was removed. So, when I went in to turn the quest in I was attacked, constantly, by PlagueRoach's. These guys are a pain in the BUTT. Run out of camp, kill the dang things that are snapping at you then put the disguise back on. Turn in quest.

Real, real easy quest. Just run around dropping the Bowels and Brains Bowl next to the Decaying Ghouls. No cast time on the bowl so you can keep running while dropping the bowls.

You must be wearing Ensorcelled Choker to pick up and do the quest.

Just so you know, the Blightguards will attack you and knock you out of your costume and all surrounding ghouls will attack you, so stay clear.

The blightbeasts are the only thing hostile here. Another thing I noted: I fed the ghoul and just as the ghoul was coming to eat it, a blightbeast attacked and my disguise was gone. The ghoul didn't attack, kept eating. So feed those ghouls!

I actually really liked this quest, nice change from the kill kill kill, even though those really into lore must be disgusted lol.

It counts for Empire of Zul'drak.

Criteria of Empire of Zul'drak: 100 quests completed in Zul'drak.

Before I finished this quest, I got sidetracked and ended up finishing the Betrayal quest chain which meant that I lost the Scourge disguise choker and can't finish this quest. Dammit. Grumble grumble...

P.S. Thrym is friendly while you're wearing this disguise. Not sure if that's much use but it's handy if you're about to get attacked by him! lol

This quest, as well as all of the Zul'Drak Drakuru quests made my warlock happy. Finally, a use for Detect Lesser Invisibility! With it you can easily see and avoid the Blightguards.

Just a note, you don't actually need the disguise on to complete the objectives for this quest. The range that the goolz will pick up on the bowl of brainz is greater than the range they would pick up on and aggro me. (I was level 80 at the time.) Once they saw the bowl of brainz they weren't interested in me any more.

You will need the disguise again to turn in the quest.

Hadn't done this quest since the launch of Wrath

1.Use amulet to transform into ghoul
2.Visit Npc Gristlegut and buy bowels and brains
3. Place food near ghoulz
4. If you find yourself eating the bowels/brains, remove the buff and re-apply
5. Avoid the blights which can see through your disguise.

If you have already advanced in the questline too far, you can complete this by using party-sync into wrath chromie-time. I had a friend help me on his alt and you have to do about 5 or so intro quests and then you will get the necklace and be able to complete this quest. Zul'Drak is now a 100% zone for me!
