To free the Riftbound Vorkai, you need to use the quest item to phase into the shadow world, then free them there.

When you are done, phase back to the regular world and go collect each of them.

To be able to do the quest, you get a Unbalanced Riftstone which lets you transition to the rift phase of the maw for an unlimited amount of time.

On live servers you are not able to exploit this to e.g. either find secrets in Korthia's rift phase or to kill Torglluun for the secret mount Nilganihmaht Control Ring because you will get phased out of the rift once you leave the zone near the Ardenweald assault.

Note that while Wowhead says this quests rewards you with Unbalanced Riftstone (the quest item), on live you don't get to keep it.

To see the mobs for this quest you have to use the quest item in your bag Unbalanced Riftstone.
After that kill 8x Hungering Manifestation and free 4x Riftbound Vorkai.

To free Riftbound Vorkai you have to destroy the three nearby Rift-Veiled Trap.

Riftbound Vorkai coordinates:
/way 19,9, 42,7
/way 19,1, 39,0
/way 21,3, 36,1
/way 23,1, 37,7

To return the quest you have to use the extra button to Exit the Rift.
Tip: once on The Rift you'll be able to find Rift Hidden Cache requirement for Jailer's Personal Stash.

Hi all

I present step by step How to do weekly Quest A Unified Effort ( Night Fae Assault ). Rewards are 2 x Concentrated Anima.

Step 1:

Pick Up Quest from Highlord Bolvar Fordragon 62 24 in Korthia then Fly/go to 22 43 in The Maw ( When You will get to Maw You will start automatic Night Fae Assault ) and speak with Lord Herne.

Step 2:

Pick Up 4 Quests from:

Lord Herne
Looming Darkness - You need to get:

- 1 x Mawsworn Ritual Book - Drop from Provoked Magus and Mawsworn Soulbreaker
- 10 x Mawsworn Ritual Book - Drop from Mawsworn Regulator and Provoked Regulator
- 15 x Dark Marrow - Drop from Furious Shade and Resonant Misery

Margrave Sin'dane
A Shady Place - You need to use Unbalanced Riftstone around 21 36 then you need to do:

- Slay 8 Hungering Manifestation,
- Freed 4 Riftbound Vorkai.

Small Guaid for Jailer's Personal Stash Cryteria of On the Offensive. You can do this achievement only when is up Night Fae Assault with quest A Shady Place 22 43.

To do This achievement You will need to use item from quest Unbalanced Riftstone to get to rift ( 10 min buff ) then You will be able to see on map treasures, You need to open 10.

Problem is that you can open maximum 6 in a day.

You can do this in 2 ways. Pick up 5 treasures on D1 then beck next day to do last 5 then finish Quest, Or You can do it in 2 deferent Night Fae Assault.

Double Dromans - You need to:

Slay Lord Dretnal 16 50
Help Droman Aliothe to kill mobs with him until 100%

Thiernax
No Soul Left Behind - You need to at first press on Thiernax's Rescue Cradle ( Cradle will follow you ) then you need to rescue 12 Lost Druid Spirit in Gorgoa and send them back to Thiernax - To send them back press on Cradle when you have 3 Spirits, Cradle will back you You after 10-20 sec.

All Quests Return to 21 46 on bridge. after return all 4 quests will start cinematic.

Step 3:

Speak with Lady Moonberry to get in hidden mode. Then first You need use skill 2 to distract first watcher on bridge. Then You need to pass barrier after You need to rescued 4 NPC:

Lord Herne 21 50
Bonesmith Heirmir 21 53
Margrave Sin'dane 22 55
Thiernax 20 54

If watcher will find You use skill 2 on them but after 5 sec You will be moved back to bridge to start one more time, all done rescues will be save.

After rescued all move to 19 57 and slay Darkmist Ascendant Relyana. after kill Quest will finish and now you can go back to Highlord Bolvar Fordragon 62 24 in Korthia.

If you want to get Infused Etherwyrm do NOT deliver this quest before getting Etherwyrm Cage Key from Elusive Keybinder. Etherwyrm Cage is in a cave in normal phase but Etherwyrm Cage Key needed to open it drops from Elusive Keybinder witch is only visible when you are in the rift phase. If you deliver A Shady Place Unbalanced Riftstone will disappear from your inventory and there is no way to get another one.

To free the Volkai:

use your quest item Unbalanced Riftstone to enter the shadows,
click the three cristals around Vorkai,
click her too to free her.

Pro Tip if you have the quest Snail Stomping (which is not in the database right now)) use the item on the shades and double dip!

Death Knights can control the Soulstarved Shadower mobs around the zone in the rift world, and use them to help with other quests. They do respectable AoE damage, so can be helpful for both frost and blood, but isn't as helpful for unholy.

the entrance to the cave one of the Riftbound Vorkai is in is at /way 20,9, 38,9

Go down the stairs and place yourself among the npc's where you started the entire assault before entering the rift. When quest is complete go back same spot before leaving the rift.
That way you will avoid the many elite mobs at the bridge and the stairs below.

Another NF assault comes to a close without this quest being available. Really like to get rid of this etherwyrm cage key soon.

Description

Existence is not a simple thing, $p. It is layers upon layers of realities. The Jailer's traps are pulling our troops into one such rift, hidden from normal sight. I have obtained an Unbalanced Riftstone. It will give you the ability to enter the rift and destroy the traps keeping our troops trapped inside, before they are lost forever. After you've destroyed the Rift-Veiled Traps, exit the rift and pull the trapped soldiers back into our reality.
