"Play what you enjoy" is the best advice. Metas come and go, but if you like a spec enough it is very viable in most content anyway
I play every class and multiple specs on many of them. I love them all!
Just remember: whenever you feel your class is doing best, a nerf is likely on the next patch. Find one you have fun while playing, stick to it and become the best you can with it, that'll get you way further than switching for every tier.
best class is whatever you thinks fun jeez
Huge thank you, Archimtiros, this needs to be out for all to read! Everyone wants to have fun, that's why we play the game. The people that find enjoyment in being competitive on any level need to have the willpower to wait for more concrete information :)
Have fun, it's a game, nothing else. Sure, if you want to be hopefully first realm on heroic or mythic or do +15 or +20 dgs or the upper rank at pvp: competitive, everything else, breath and play
I want to play what I want to play, but that doesn't mean people are obligated to bring me along and carry me though. RIP my warrior for now. I refuse to play Arms, and I don't tank unless my group lacks a tank for the night. Gearing for Fury has always been the worst due to the stupid "requirements" like Lady Ashvane's stupid trinket and Geti from King's Rest. I miss Fury from the end of Pandaria. I want that back. At least I have my Beast Mastery Hunter to enjoy, hahaha.... I should bother learning other classes.
smae logic than with all this simulator
Always choose the class you are most comfortable with. If you arent comfortable with a class, you wont enjoy playing it and probably wont get the maximum out of it, defeating the point of playing a game thats about fun.
I just don't want my time wasted DSA specs. I know that given my time constraints to play I likely won't have time to dedicate to mythic raiding (majority of guilds wanting to raid during the week) besides what my Fri/Sat guild comfortably wants to do to maximize the box, and I will likely cap out at +20s. But still I don't want my time being wasted on subpar specs. Had to deal enough of that with ret in bfa. And given my progress toward rank 4 essences (10/11 earned, only lacking conflict, getting 1800 with 100 matches and as my first season), I know that in hindsight I could have had azeroth's champion had I played havoc, fire, or destro in 2s. Just don't want to waste effort on a dead end when I could be putting that in another spec for the same effort and get more results. Essentially I want to avoid Sisyphean situations that could lead me to being apathetic about the game. So I can easily see the reason for people wanting to get the headstart on playing what is good (but also the futility in it). I'm sure loads of other people have thought the same thing.
So will Feral be closer to Danny Ric or Seb this year? Or just poor George
I play all 12 classes...my "main" is my Hunter. Only because she has the most reputations to Exalted. Otherwise - I play the character that I am in the "mood" for.
Arcane Mage is a spec, not a class, Mages are always fine...also, just saying, Arcane was insanely good in Ny'alotha when geared so...Removed
