It's really disappointing that we have to search for them on our own (no minimap indicator). Especially given the fact that Revendreth isn't exactly exploration-friendly.
Just a heads up, there is another commenter that already has this weeks mirror up (Week 3 was last week see https://www.cuckhead.com/guides/mirror-network-venthyr-covenant-sanctum-shadowlands comments), also you are missing a back piece Burnished Sinstone Chain I sent a screen shot after getting from the broken mirror chest last night. (Note: glad to see the mirror network getting a boost on wowhead, thank you, it was a drag trying to find them day 1 and hopefully this brings out more finders!)
There are more back pieces, one of each kind. All of the "Burnished" items are from the broken mirrors. My guess before I started on this was 2-3 pieces per week. Last week I got the blades back, belt and stony. This week so far I've gotten boots. Seems like my estimate was about right or my luck just happened to line up. It also provides a decent amount of gold, anima and rubies for the time spent. I'm liking this colorway a lot more than I thought so I'm excited to finish unlocking everything in 3-4 weeks! Also can you please highlight the bug where you get sent to Sanctum of the Mad occasionally and have to run all the way back to the mirror? It makes the time investment for this activity blow way out of proportion. Why would anyone walk anywhere?
That mount is tight
Heh, I try to keep the comment(s) updated every Wednesday (EU reset). Earlier today I also added the coordinates for this week, and also brushed up the descriptions a little to provide some more clarity.Edit: I do think it is a shame there isn't a 'dagger' backpiece that matches the Cloth transmog set (purple), which I'd say is my main 'complaint' about this loot list.
Folks in the secret finding discord have found more mirror locations and have listed them on the wowpedia page for the Venthyr Covenant.
WOW this is a great post, I hadnt realized this and it has rewards for the effort like a transmog
The weekly mirror locations would be a great addition to your guys "Today in WoW" section!
For those of us who just unlocked the mirriors: What group are we on?Nmv: got it.Don't do the /way in sinfall it will just confuse you.
None of the week 1 or 2 mirrors are showing up for me. I've tested four of them, two from each. Not sure it's worth checking on the other two. On Thunderhorn-US. :(EDIT: Looks like this article didn't include the locations for week 4, which happens to be the current week. Check the Handcrafted Mirror Repair Kit page for comments. :)
Perfect timing! My hard-earned 10K anima is currently converting into a Rank 3 unlock even as I type this.Very much looking forward to exploring these hidden corners of the mirror network. It's a nice unexpected bonus because I was initially only interested in getting the portal to Oribos. As someone who likes to emphasise the RP aspect of the game when playing, with a little imaginative effort I can see this turning into quite an ongoing adventure for my Venthyr character (perhaps even taking up a tiny bit of the slack left by the end of the renown campaign in the process). And hopefully at some stage she'll be getting getting that delightful Mantle of Burnished Blades so that her transformation into a Death Knight version of the goddess Kali will be complete.
Hopefully Wowhead does something like that as I cannot update the comment(s) indefinitely, but because there doesn't seem to be a specific pattern to the Broken Mirrors, automated updates seem tricky.
Boy am I sick of "I wish X aspect of the game was a bit more user friendly/less grindy" constantly being met with "OH WHY DON'T WE MAKE THE GAME PLAY ITSELF"People aren't asking for the game to play itself, they're asking not to have to waste unnecessary time to trigger an RNG drop. If it's gonna be a whole secret process it should reward a guaranteed reward commensurate with the time spent; if it's going to be a low daily drop chance then it should be predictable and simple to do each day.
