I think Warbands are a great way to introduce a new feature: world content (like Delves) together with your own alts.Just imagine, choose a couple of your alts to replace NPCs in certain scenarios. They can tank or heal you a bit, nothing fancy or OP, just a fun way of 'playing' multiple chars rather than have random models help you.
I assume they have to be on the same Realm?
I am BEGGING for map exploration to be added to this too. If flight paths are in it can't be a big ask, but I just hate having grey areas on all of my alts. (Also maybe give us the Hero's Path TPs please?)
For those confused. Warband is just another word for your Account. Basically any and all characters you ever create are in your warband and will always be."Camp" part is just you putting your favourite "most played" characters on display.
What's the difference between "Warbound Until Equipped" and "Blizzard Account Bound"?
If I can make my alts into an NPC party that I take to Delves I'll never unsub again
this may be the best change they have ever put in the game. i am over the moon. I'm doing with with my bank alt's guild already butt that is per server. at long last, my alts can be together even cross realm. AND i can trade them gear? AND i can send gold and mats to my guys on dead servers! WIN!(not to mention fun lil head-RP about everyone knowing eachother)
i can't imagine how hard it'll be to fix the code for past reps - especially the ones that are mutually exclusive like aldors vs scryers - so i'm not surprised they're not rushing into doing old reps just yet. honestly shadowlands is the only one i'm actually hoping for.
If they eventually get around to making all reps/renown account wide, I hope they mute the achievement notifications for when I log into a rarely used alt. Otherwise there will be 100+ achievements showing up on screen and in the chat box
Because of this news I though I'd be a good idea start farming the Tusks of Mannoroth with my other toons and they actually just dropped for my Monk. Now waiting for that feature to be implemented, any chance they'll roll it out sooner? Pretty please?
Quality of life changes are great, but if the content isn't good, who cares. Never buy into the hype.
