Honestly, good changes. I don't mind +1 marksman to either side; left because we're already getting count dropped significantly, and right because, as the post said, someone almost always invariably pulled that pack on the way to the hunting grounds, which +1 marksman to that area is still nicer than 2 marksmen and the rune caster you would've dealt with.
I just hope that the most hated (by me) instance will become somewat... really enjoyable. I hated it during the Legion.
Those particular pulls were nasty AF at higher keys. Glad to see them cut down on them a bit.
why not to leave bosses only ? bit of ridiculous
Tomek is right as always. Changing stuff is a sign of weakness since they're admitting to haven been wrong in the past
Does this change apply for the legacy/non-scaled version of the dungeon as well?
Good change. Those first few pulls were really nasty even though most classes had strong CC, most notably DH with a 5 second Chaos Nova and IIRC Blood Elfs still being able to AoE silence with racial.Tldr; Less overall CC => reduced pack size to counter balance.
If you will just gut the dungeons, not much point in bringing them back.
If the tuning is adequate upon release then I'm happy. I don't want to wait 3 or 4 weeks into the season for supermassive nerfs like what we experienced with Karazhan.
I appreciate these changes. I loved the aesthetic of this dungeon back in the day, but hated actually doing it. Halls of Valor always seemed to just take forever. Thanks for making this a much more enjoyable experience.
Good change! They seem to bloat trash sometimes which causes some issues when running higher keys. Not saying make it easier as it's meant to be a challenge but...
People will complain about anything. Some of ya'll wake up in the morning ready to yell at Blizzard for ruining your life.Like most changes in Dragonflight, these are great. Glad to see there's attention to detail in here. Of course, we all know that Blizzard is like 60 days ahead of us in terms to things that have changed. We'll play a spec and say it's crap when they already changed it internally on their internal testing realms and are tinkering with things before they ship it to us to 'test'. Then they line up our notes with their own.The issue is... Most people who play WoW, again most, don't care about any of these issues that commenters bring up. One million people will login today and play. Of that million, ten thousand could be angry about X, Y or Z. The other 9,990,000 players (99%), don't care or didn't even notice.I've been recruiting friends left and right to play WoW and they're LOVING IT. They LOVE Shadowlands and they loved BFA. The stories and cinematics, the characters. Their opinions have been entirely positive and they're excited about the depth of the game and the lore and the mounts and the pets and the clothes. So in perspective, Blizzard's money comes from making fun cinematics and putting in collectables. I mean, even Asmongold plays the game mostly for the collectables. He goes to extremes with it. Why?Cause it's fun.Doesn't mean we want our characters to suck, not at all. But it does mean that most of us aren't upset to see that some NPCs were removed in an old dungeon upscaled to M+ for the sake of balance. And honestly? Mostof the people who complain about these things and try to min max are parsing 60% anyways. :p Not that those numbers matter nor should they matter. It's the guy at the gym who benches bar with no plates giving people tips on form because he read about it online. Okay dude. -_-
I like it! Great changes!
Finally good cjanges :)
