10 immunities is alot, perhaps too much. I wonder if blizzard thinks the average guild will happily have people re-gear mid tier to meet this? Making someone play another class or drop guild and hope another has a spot for a non immunity class?
Maybe they should move some mechanics to a special roster that will always apply and no immunities will work on them. For N'zoth the Harvester damage could be ignored, but the sanity loss will still be applied which would of course makes the encounter harder but in a way the mechanic is meant to work and PvP would not be affected in any way as it would if they rework the immunities completly.
this is mess, while i agree that knowing your class and how to cheese some tactic is useful, tactic fully dependant on this is trash...or maybe it is because i am from small hc group, who can deal with few mythic bosses, but ultimately we end because we barely get 20 geared people on all sort of classes and we simply dont have people to swapexample - mythic wrathion, classes and races with ability to dispell their movement debuff are heavily favored, my group has 6 of these people...
Personally, I think reducing the minimum targets required on Harvest Thoughts would bring down the immunity requirement more effectively than lowering the sanity loss or damage. Bringing six immunities is a much more reasonable standard than the sanity drain of mass-soaking two casts and then having to execute the rest of the fight perfectly, and you're still going to need five if you tune the sanity/damage thanks to the Paranoia overlap
^&*! this 'mythic' design. Yea, %^&* over more than HALF the classes because they don't have some bull&*!@ skill. ''Bring the player not the class'' right Blizzard? $%^& you.
If Blizzard ever removes immunities they will shot themselves in foot. They should stay but they shouldn't allow to skip entire mechanic. Full immunities like paladin's bubble could be made so you can use it only once per fight. All this talking about Mythic being too difficult is plain stupid. This is supposed to be hardest possible content, it's not meant for everybody. Guilds like Method or Limit should clear it in the first or second reset as of the rest, month, two or more is fine. Regular guilds don't require you to maintain 3-4 alts, that's why top guilds can come up with some crazy strategy, doesn't matter if it's class stacking or some other mumbo jumbo. If Blizzard makes Mythic easier, so less hardcore guilds can clear it in the first 3-4 resets, I guarantee that posts and ^&*!-show will happen, people will scream about new harder difficulty. Again Mythic is not supposed to be cleared the first week it comes up for regular mythic raiding guilds.
