And again, a nice and elaborate guide on one of the non-endgame/progressing aspects of the WoW content. Chapeau. :)
Actually, you can do more than six dailies on Tol Barad Peninsula. It's not just a joke that the quest givers get new orders at 3am. The quests they offer change at that time. Before 3am, do all six quests they offer and turn them in. At that point, it won't look like they have any more quests for you that day. After 3am, their quest lists reset. Each one of the quest givers may, or may not, now have new quests for you. Since there is an element of randomness, chances are good that the NEW set of quests will have some overlap with the set you've already completed, but it's likely there will be at least 2 or 3 new quests you can complete that same day.Note that for this to make sense, your server's daily quest reset has to be at 4am or later.
I want to say, that is good to note, that arena wins with guildmates will give you much guild xp and therefore much guild rep(138k XP and about 650reputation per win). Except that, great guide :)
Cool guide. Now to go get United Nations...on one char.
You forgot something; every Goblin city (Gadget, etc) has a friendly goblin that you can turn in stuff to for rep. Last I checked they were still there, mate.
A guy in our guild got United Nations for us, all by himself *shrug*
Heh nice guide as always.
Oh just noticed something; at exalted, which is when you can buy the CE Hippo for 1600 gold. You also get CE rep in the Tundra for doing quests for DEHTA and turning in the Ears once the quests at the hub are finished.
I'll add in something about the Bloodsail Traitors etc, for quickly gaining rep back with the Goblins, and the hub in Borean. My friends have found regular Steamvaults more exciting than ears, but I'll mention it.Also--we had one person (a human in guild who completed the Insane) ding United Nations completely for us too. Not every guild has that type of player though. That's really interesting about the Tol Barad stuff too. I wasn't aware of that, but it certainly helps if you're aiming to finish the daily quest achievement there.
thanks for the addition. :]
Since 4.2, the guild reputation cap before rep boni is 4375 :)
I thought the cloth donation method of rep-grinding disappeared in Cataclysm? (I can't log in and check if they're still there right now, or I would.)
I logged on and the runecloth NPCs aren't there--I need to ticket the npcs/quests in our database so they're not marked as in-game.
For Wrath of the Lich King faction reps (Alliance Vanguard, Horde Expedition), isn’t it level 80 dungeons (not 85) that grant rep for them (when not wearing a rep tabard)? Thanks for the useful guide!
Bloodsail Buccaneers get a mention, but nothing included on The Steamwheedle Cartel & their rep. progression(s). A lot of TSC grind has been removed since The Shattering & I'm not hopeful for their continued inclusion in the game this side of the likes of 'Wastewander Water' hand-in's (or similar) being re-instigated.Further to those mentioned, above, I'm 35/55 for United Nations in my Guild & my (at the time) 30 Exalteds got my Guild Ambassadors when I got to Guild Revered...
Steamwheedle is covered under Classic Cities, as well as the quests that you can do to get back to Neutral after the Bloodsail grind easily.Diplomacy requires Revered on the guild achievement tab, while United Nations is currently showing as Exalted.
Been waiting for this one! Excellent work, perculia! =D
