So they replaced a vendor that wouldnt be useful going forward with something that would be (reforger with transmog), people think they will replace the auctioneer, who is universally useful, with something else? This really seems like apples and oranges.
the later they get to the public the less chances people have to slowly get the gold via play, ah gaming etc. and the more you have to resort to token sales. waiting for data mining is perfectly in tune with thinking they are choosing this way to make brutosauri rare for token sales/money instead of choosing another way of making it rare.
Were they considering removing it? That would be mutiny people would be outraged
Ah yes, keep the mount rarity low, while claiming to care about gold inflation over the years, when a substantial portion of the people that bought the longboi did so at BFA launch with m+/mount carry gold and OH alt gold. The thinly veiled bs in this post. Wowhead claims the mount is owned by 3% of the population but that is likely according to accounts that are setup through wowhead. The mount even by end shadowlands given the current level of liquid gold flow set by BFA would likely only reach 5% or so. Hardly prevalent as they so claim.
GTFO Blizz! This is just a last ditch effort to grab some cash via tokens!
Unless the mount (or the player) had easy access to email, the AH npc wouldn't do much as people would still park their mount near a mailbox.I still prefer the Garrison's AH anyway, at least on my toons that are main on some professions, like Alchemy, Engineering, BS, Enchanting, etc. Since Blizz removed Ashran's item from the Trade Post's AH robot quest, it is way easier to even get it on alts. And you can have mail, bank, void, transmog, all in one quiet place. Also Garrison has access to LFG and Trade chats.
Woah boy, if they had done that I would be ENRAGED. Good to hear it isn't happening.
The model has multiple colors, but only one is a mount. https://www.warcraftmounts.com/mounts/darkcaravanbrutosaur.php
Blizzard actually hilariously saying they "didn't want it to be common"... What a joke. Most WoW players will never see a combined 5,000,000g in their entire time playing the game.
