Either July 3rd or the 10th. Mage tower means nothing, this is pre-expansion stuff. The PVP could be difficult but again, thats something that can go in effect when it launches in August. Blizzard has been good with the 4-6 week window and seeing how much there is todo and if it happened with only 4 weeks, they would be alienating the casual players which they have been working had to please as well. I say Independence on the 3rd so they can play on the 4th while off from work lol.
*Grabs popcorn, spells out ‘July’ with ten kernels”....
July 17. That gives us 4 weeks exactly on the pre-patch.
In regards to the arena season: are the tournament servers separate from live? it could be possible that the finals will still be on older patches. May be unlikely but definitefly possible. Just my opinion :D
A lot of people are saying that there is so much to do in the pre-patch. Like what exactly is there all to do that requires more then a month? All I know of is the Battle for Lorderan scenario, the handing in the weapon in Silithus, and the Teldrasil scenario and some world quests in Darkshore. All that can be done in just a couple of hours. Please fill me in on how much more stuff there is to do that requires more then a month. And I'm not trying to sound like a $%^& about this, I'm just curious if I'm missing anything.
they said BFA was gonna be released worldwide at the same time
I'm more curious about the official announcement of prepatch, since the legion one came about a month before ^^ As for the arena finals, can't blizz just do the patch and for the finals use the older version? I'm sure it was done before, can't recall if it was for wow or sc2.
I hope 3 or 4 july. I wanna level my nightborne with 15% extra exp while killing alliance noobs.
17 would be ideal, and the arguments for this are there. Anyways, BfA will look unpolished and rushed AF even if the prepatch would land in early August. Let's just hope they won't sacrifice the expac around 8.2 to focus fully on 9.0.
I still think it will be the 10th. The 17th feels too late if they're going to roll the story in weekly stages. It also makes sense to have a week between the patch and the first event.
I mean, aren't the arena dudes training and competing on tournament realms? How does this affect live?
