Don't want to be a party ruiner, but just yesterday Preach had a vid on lvling, and that you have to complete the campain on your 1st char until than you cannot hit 60. Am I missing something? How would this caus to miss important story moments? It's fully linear. I don't think this will work in SL zones tho...
Personally this wont affect me one way or the other gonna 100% all the zones regardless not skipping any quest for the first run.:)
"so it's unclear if it will remain active in Shadowlands zones, as the buff could allow players to hit 60 without experiencing important story moments on their first playthrough." <- you cant start end game till you finish the story so what would it matter when we hit 60?
they are 100% making you do the story this time to access any end game fyi
Can remember that the xp buff also worked in WotLK and WoD which where both released on november 13. So as they did not remove the xp buff as they reworked leveling experience it will most likely stay active in SL.
Yah but it will feel cheap like here's a buff, but you cant use it.
Honestly, whether it be active or not, for SL it would not matter. Each zone is level gated and campaigns HAVE to be completed. So I think it doesn't really matter.
Probably not and you guys, reddit, and the forums are going to be outraged.
As most have figured, it will not be for SL content. But if it was it would not really make a big difference. In SL our first char can not get to end game content before finishing the main story no matter when they ding 60. So if it was active it would mainly be for fast leveling of alts. Either way, not happening.
Ehh, if it is active for Shadowlands Leveling, Imma still play through everything just becasue
