Enhancement Healer Shaman? :o
The balance between the conduits themselves are like a remake of azerite powers...A quick example:Focused Mending Potency Conduit Prayer of Mending's first target is healed by an additional 15 %.A great, the first target of an aoe heal is healed by +15%.Festering Transfusion Potency Conduit Unholy Transfusion's duration is increased by 5 sec and deals 10% more damage and healing.Oh, ok, +33% duration + 10% healing for everyone (resulting into a 46% more potent spell)
These two conduits seem to be the exact same thing while the others all seem to be unique abilities with no other doubles that I saw for priests, is it a mistake on blizzard's part?Lasting Spirit Potency Conduit Guardian Spirit's duration is increased 5 sec, and it increases healing received by an additional 10%.Resonant Words Potency Conduit Guardian Spirit's duration is increased 5 sec, and it increases healing received by an additional 10%.
So these are supposed to somewhat analogous to Relics in artifact weapons, but relics had varying item levels, which let the system grow. Is there any growth to the conduit system? New content patches could of course introduce brand new conduits, but are they going to be releasing more powerful versions as well? Are you going to have to go back to older content to farm out more copies of old conduits? Etc etc.
Holy Tentacle Tuesdays that Unruly Winds is BONKERS, 40% chance to do a *third* attack with Windfury weapon!Good lord almighty!
What we know so far is that there aren’t any item levels . Conduits are also changing / adding more as the expansion progresses in addition to more soul bind talents .
I love watching blizzard actively kill 2h frost already, even though they've done NOTHING to address ANY of the problems the spec/subspec has still. So far, frost, and like two other specs have received next to NOTHING.Eradicating blow: Potency Conduit - Obliterate increases the damage of your next frost strike by 10% stacks up to 2 times. This is a 1h buff, when 1h is already going to be better due to how the spec scales with mastery. (Previously, 1h would stack mastery, 2h would stack crit/haste.) Almost every ability is frost damage now, that would mean that you effectively raise your dps by just stacking mastery, since it increases ALL abilities, while obliterate (your main ability as 2h) is PHYSICAL. Currently due to corruption the view is skewed, but this tier is irrelevant because we're never going to have that uptime again unless blizzard addresses rune starvation.2h is just a skin I guess. Unless they add a few specific things for 2 handed frost, it's doomed. It's almost like it needs a talent to put it on par with the spec, but frost already has a plethora of really boring talents. (Aside from frostscythe and obliteration)That and the spec needs a minor overhaul, please refer to my comment on the shadowlands DK changes post if you have any questions as to why I'm so upset with blizzards disregard for any dk spec that isn't unholy, their golden child. I'm glad unholy got its rework into being a necromancer, but blizzard, please, revert blood back to how it was in mop, and just throw frost dk some kind of bone that isn't just a talent shuffle and some number tuning.I KNOW ITS STILL EARLY, I'm sure there's going to be more conduits and changes, but after so long of being in radio silence about my main spec of EIGHT YEARS. (95+ percentile player before Uldir, hated this xpac and main swapped, though i still actively play my dk.)If we don't give feedback, they can't know that something is wrong, so I'm giving my feedback, loud, concise and repetitively. For all you people who are gonna be like "But frost is the easy spec!" Easy doesn't mean boring. A class can be easy to pick up and hard to master, and as much as I hate breath build for frost dk, it's exactly that. Diversity could add so much flavor to the spec, as well as a few new abilities, or hell, even just some nearly necessary passives being baked into the spec.I think frost dk would benefit greatly from adding obliteration and frostscythe baseline, then an entire talent shuffle, as well as some passive haste or some type more consistent rune regeneration. (The legendary belt from legion helps with this, glad to see it make a come back.) Currently, frost dk, one of the fastest paced, smoothest feeling melee, is exactly the opposite (without corruption, which mind you did not exist til now, and won't exist in the future.)I have every class maxed except for shaman, I've played every spec, every xpac for fun because i'm a high end raider who's an altoholic. (Though essences put a huge damper on my alts this xpac.) So it's not like I'm not looking at other changes and being like "wow some of these are good." Because that's not true, some specs are getting so much, and it's nice to see, but other specs are still getting swept under the rug, and it's not fair. Just because fire is flavor of the month, doesn't mean everyone WANTS to play fire. Just because assassination is the only non-mediocre rogue spec right now for raid, doesn't mean everyone WANTS to play assassination in raid.People want to be a one trick, that maybe dabbles into other specs/classes, people want to stick with the thing that they like, yet blizzard absolutely ruined that this tier, especially with its lack of tuning. (seriously when was the last time we got an actual balance patch?) The highs of highs and lows of lows needed to be tuned far earlier this tier, fire mage shouldn't be doing nearly 30% more damage than the lowest spec in raid. (If you go to max percentile they're doing nearly 50% more, but 90th percentile is a decent judge so I usually stick with that, as it factors in rng and skill over just procs, especially with how ridiculous corruption can be.)Sorry for the absolute tirade for anyone who reads this, I'm just pretty sure that blizzard only looks at the vocal minority anymore, and it's time to take a stand.
Even though conduits are spec-specific, some have different effects based on the spec you're in. That'll be important to take note of.
