I thought M+ could have been fun. I don't want every dungeon to be timed and a race though, I want exploration dungeons too.I also don't want to have to run the same dungeon for the same gear just slightly better. That's an immense no-no for me. If my Beast Lord armor is my pre-bis, as soon as I get my shoulder piece I want to have it. And it's over. If I run the same dungeon again it's because I want to do it for an alt.also, this is classic news how?
Why time gate LFR? i just dont get why they would have every raid difficulty unlock at the same time, but then still time gate the one with the almost meaningless rewards.
Less emphasis on affixes sounds great. It might make me actually do M+ for the first time since early BfA. Hopefully they follow through.
Morgan Day is soooo cute. Look at this smiiiileeee... love this guys. Huggable at least.
It's literally impossible to put "less emphasis on affixes" without removing something. They EXIST to get in your way.The two newest ones just further comp-block pugs. How are we supposed to be excited?Everytime Morgan Day talks I lose more hope for M+
They need to put more emphasis on affixes. Add the fun seasonal affixes as regular affixes to rotation. Make m+ fun again. Instead of "god damn its sanguine again" It should be holy *!@# I cant wait for next reset its going to be Encrypted. Or shrouded or whatever
"Blizzard wants to put less emphasis on affixes, and more on the dungeons themselves."The problem with this is that half of the dungeons on a Mythic + Season are old dungeons, unless they make some weird mechanics on them along with the new ones theres not much emphasis. At some point they are gonna run out of old dungeons for Mythic + and they will most likely comeback with Seasonal affixes which imo excluding the one at first season of dragonflight they were fine to begin with. They just need to make those seasonal affixes feel less raid mechanics which was the issue with Thundering to begin with.
Juest delete affixes because the dungeons already scale with difficulty and maybe works mechanics into dungeons instead of hacing extra friction the whole time.
Blizz saying they don't want Aug to be mandatory is contradictory to them also saying and wanting to make support work.If Aug if nerfed out of meta then support is not used. Of course they could make a new, or convert another spec into support, but you run into the same problem. The new support becomes meta (mandatory) The way I see it there are only 2 viable solutions;1. Concede support won't work.2. Add more support specs and dungeons become 6 man (1-1-1-3)I honestly can't think of anything else that would work balance wise.
