Kraken Eyes stealth buffed from 40 main stat to 80?
Since most crafting skills are completely useless now, I'm only looking forward to the fishing things.Alchemy? Meh, oh great, gotta pull more weeds. Engineering? Ok at least a new Jeeves finally but gotta pick up new rocks.But fishing stuff. Interesting.
Engineering can't craft mount equipment to let you herb on mounts?
Wake me up when that Chicken mount is added to echchanting.I am really no fan of professions in BfA, especially not of these recipe worldquests that are never up.
I’m no fan of professions in BfA. By the time you collect all these reagent drops from dungeons and raids (hydrocores, tidalcores, breath of Bwomsamdi, etc) to make a trinket or piece of gear, it’s already lower than what you get from World Quests and other sources...they need to either stop gating reagents behind dungeon/raid runs or provide another way to obtain them, such as a vendor who sells them for war resources.
blizzard = washed up
Finally BfA wormholes :)
These are short term fixes for a long and on going problem. It was fine in legion because it felt like something new, but now with BFA its just lazy and taking the easy cheap way out. I miss the vanilla and BC days where professions were a time investment that paid off. I enjoyed spending weeks farming demonic runes to make Corruption, and the months of primal farming for Lionheart champion. Now it just feels like oversimplified trash for casuals. I don't mean non mythic/raiders. I'm talking about those who !@#$% and moan the game is too difficult because it involves reading and the lack of a 'complete now' button. Every update and change they make feels like they're driving home the fact that they want their target audience to be mobile players.
stop complaining we get bling 7k woo hoo
There are new weapon enchants but no new engineering scopes for hunter's ranged weapon?
+20% speed mount VS Walk on Water? Looks like that the walk on water mounting is really dead now (after strider mount has been killed), speed mount increase works everywhere, to the contrary of walk on water, so is probably almost always preferable. Also I am a blacksmith and it makes little sense that I can make the Walk on Water thingy, this thing sounds magical to me. But BS allow magical items crafting though, so there that's probably why. Anyway.
Anyone else notice that the engineering helms up to 445 do not show anything that is from Raids or Dungeons to be used, instead Expulsom and a lot of the new osmonite ore are reagents. That is something that everyone has wanted since the start of BFA, unless of course Osmonite can only be mined in the new instances. If these stay that way it is will be finally be something actually be useful for/from professions since BFA started if you do not raid/M+. Recipes like these are great because they do not punish people who mainly do things like PVP and do not engage in a lot of PVE. I never heard a Raider complain they had to PVP to get materials for professions so why should PVPers have to Raid/M+. Thank you Blizz for paying attention to us, unless of course you change the recipes before the patch is released. If that happens then a POX upon your houses sirs.
I wish that the new enchants were for cloaks rather than for weapons again. It feels weird not having an enchant on them.
The bad profession design was clear from day one. Imao taking out gold from game on one part makes it more valuable yes but on the other hand here is what I said on first weeks into BFA: When player gets low on gold they will stop:- buying non critical items from AH which includes: - extra recipes (old world, not for profit making just to have them all - buying pets / mounts just for complete collection or just because looks cool - they will stop buying even consumables. I don't remember when did I see last time peps to flask / rune / eat up in LFR. oh yes I remember: legion. Nope not anymoreso a casual player will spend his gold on one thing: REPAIR period. As for casual profession users: they craft what they can collect, but not really worth to bother it : WQ drops 400-410 today.... so might viable to have enchanter as prof for saving on gold. I would like to see a statistic about the global AH value for the past months. On WoWuction I didn't find any historical data only tracks for few days. But I'm pretty sure it dropped in the past months. As new recipes comes out the demand will fall quick. It leads the otherwise happy AH goblin nation to disappear little by little. I know one thing, since I managed to get the AH mount there is nothing to aim for. Maybe make enough gold for make multibox? Not sure atm.
