Isnt it clear they want covenant choices to be similar to choosing a class? I swear if they released prestige classes people would be complaining that Arch Druid and Druid of the Fang should be just cosmetic choices.

They end it on a completely contradictory message that it's a community problem that people pick X class over Y and the differences aren't enough to matter on most keys but then say you need to always pick X class over Y to time your +15. Guess it's wise that they put it at the end since at that point I am tuning out.
At this point I think the argument has devolved into baseless namecalling and insistence that the *other* sides opinions don't matter because X or Y.I reckon the best way to sort this out is to explore Blizzards way of doing things through beta, see if they can come up with a system people can agree on, then failing that put it to a player vote. Other MMOs I know have done it, it would't be easy but say every Blizz account that subbed some time in the last six months or so casts a single vote on: Should Covenants Remain Locked? In the meantime can we please lay off the aggro about how others opinions don't matter on both sides? For instance Preach is a fantastic guy and I respect the hell out of his opinion, but he pays the same sub as everyone else you know?
By the comments I guess this is just a group of tryhards whining about how they are forced to play the game right instead of cheese all difficulty by stacking broken fotm ultra optimal classes, good.
Who's the 4 listed alongside Preach?
Did they address the Rogue/Shroud situation after Season4 finishes?
MMORPGs need casuals, not hardcores. That is in my opinion why FF14 is so successful these days. Wouldn't shock me if WoW gained players by banning DPS meters at this point.
