my most epic loot was definitely when I was running BT with my guild and there was me (rogue) and another guy rogue too.. and he had spent a lot of DKP on the blade of savagery from mother.. but then the most unexpected A WARGLAIVE! then the other rogue got *!@#ed that he had spent all his dkp on that sword and I was dancing on the living room celebrating my glaive \o/

The most epic thing I've ever encountered was creating my Sulfuron Hammer.I started WoW just a few months before Burning Crusade was released, so the idea of collecting the materials for the hammer was moot by the time I reached 60, but the idea of creating such an epic weapon that could one day become legendary was just too good to pass up.It took roughly six months to farm most of the mats and then another year to purchase the ultra-rare Sulfuron Ingots from the AH since my guild was no longer running Molten Core. After that year and a half though, it was wickedly exciting to solo Lord Incendius to gain access to the Black Anvil and finally make the mace. The only thing that I believe can top this is if, by some miracle, I'm able to finally run Molten Core and win the roll on Eye of Sulfuras. With a 1.5% drop rate, the odds of that happening would be very, very slim. But it would be, I believe, the greatest achievement a blacksmith could achieve in the game. It definitely earns the title of Feat of Strength.
Preceptor's HatFor the old naxx! All i wanted was to be a witch with that hat and the broom from Tirisfal Glades.IT WAS AWESOME!
The most epic pice of loot i really wanted from the beginning ( of wow ) was when saw Slayer's Helm in MH , i tryd soo many times to get my Slayer's Helm for rogues but it never doppt , but after some months of grinding i finally got my " helm" and i was so proud of my self ;D
I'd have to say getting my Rhok'delar (back when the respawn timer on the demons was ridiculously long) is still the most epic thing I've ever done in the game. Getting the one in the Burning Steppes down to 10% on my first try and then having a warrior of my own faction charge in to "help" me. Being killed by the Silithus demon about 10 times before I *finally* killed him. Having the Winterspring guy bug out on terrain and vanish before my eyes after a good three minutes of kiting. All that frustration was totally worth it, though. I learned so much trying to figure out how to take down those mobs, tools that I can't imagine not having at my disposal now.
My most EPIX drop isnt just one drop, no no no, it was Four.It begain when i was listening to G4 and heard the linken quest line (This was before I had wow so I had to look it up again.)So i check out where I start it. And get to running ALL around azzeroth for it.Few weeks later, and some gold I spent to drop Blazerunner, I had not only my Totem of Aquamentus (Quest item, not the reward) My Linkens Sword of Mastery, and of course, Linkens Boomerang as well as the Faded Photograpy. I then linked it in guild chat and started a STAMPEDE for everyone else to complete it.Should also mention I'm a game nerd (obviously) so all the refferences in the game were just great. (tri-force off blazerunner anyone?)
My most epic drop had to be earning the full Field Marshal's Vestments. I was a rogue and so I was into PVP, but it took a ton of BG runs/ World PVP to get enough honor. I know it wasn't even the best armor at the time, but I didn't have the time to raid and it felt awesome to have something that seperated me from the others on the server.
