Getting enough Souls has never been a problem (well; for me), only getting the amount of Anima required w/o spending sleepless weeks farming them. While "I get" that some had every Sanctum upgrade completed before 9.1 hit, the expectation that "everyone can do it" is a bit strong - the most realistic target for any player is to have all the Sanctum upgraded by the end of the Expansion.
You know what blizz needs to do? Communicate plans for the future earlier. What if they said, right after SL went live that in six months we'd have a patch that would help us out with alts, then a month later we would get another helpful alt patch so that alts could catch up.Communicate earlier what you have in store for players so that we have something to look forward to other than endless whining about how unpleasant alts are
The souls requirement should be completely removed, at least for 2nd covenant and alters
why dont hotfix it now , i dont wanna wait so long for the changes
Still wouldn't do them because of how annoying/boring it is. Having to find 20 individual souls that are scattered across the maw is not fun nor meaningful at this point
5th week in a row getting a two-handed weapon in the vault as a Windwalker. Clueless Blizzard still doesn't get it. Remove two-handers from the WW vault pool blizzard, you @#$%^s.
To be honest the real question is why do these even exist in the game? upgrades already have an anima cost, so why timegate them? are they afraid that i will break the game by getting my table rank 3 on the same day as my portals or something? It's all irrelevant anyway in terms of progression...
Awesome, we've been needing this since 9.1 launched. Glad they're listening to the feedback, even if it takes too long to do anything about it.
why not just "collect how many souls you want in the maw" ? Why does it have to be a repeatable quest? Collect 20 souls go back to sanctum, hand in, go collect 20 souls....Is there any reason behind gating it via quest (anymore)?
