Feels like this was compiled in a rush, especially when you read the comments of why these covenants are supposedly best for each spec. I understand getting people to read longer posts but having 1-2 sentence answers and usually talking about the covenant in question only makes these articles too clickbait for me. Generally fuel for the fire of the meme that "you only want to pick your 'BiS' covenant" and using the phrase "only top players need be concerned" to counter it, can't have your cake and eat it Wowhead.
Kyrian, the stupidest covenant of them all. BTW , if rogue stays like this, might as well wait a couple of more weeks and invest my time in Cyberpunk. I defo ain't gona waste my time if SL is unbalanced just for the lols.
Huh, neat! I was doubting between covenants still for my nerfed catboy, but it seems that Kyrian (my favorite one, mogwise) is actually good too!I'm actually glad that the generic druid Night Fae isn't the best.Still, I might actually still choose something else based on the leveling experience (':
I like Fae cosmetics but I'm forced into being Kyrian to not be at the bottom of dps chart. Thanks Blizzard, great design.
Blizzard should just make explicit what is already implicit, that one covenant per spec will have the ability to use LFD to join PUGs, and the others will not. By making this an actual ability enforced by the in-game group making systems, players who care could at least be sure they are picking the right one.
God I really don't want to pick kyrian on any of my characters let alone all of them
Can't wait for all these "Homogenization is bad! I'll play a subpar Covenant anyway!" people to cry that they don't get M+ invites.
While I am a sad panda, my super srs progression raiding days are over. I'm just gonna pick the covenants I like best for what toons I'm playing (with hopefully enough minimal consequence) and then change them around to the (by this time, hopefully patched around a bit) "best" covenant when end game/min maxing really matters down the road. :/ *sigh* Still sad about classes like druids feeling locked into a spec...
I will keep repeating myself, locking abilities to covenants is a bad decision. Balancing them is almost impossible, and most of their time will go into that direction, leading only to confusion and anger. Make them as a talent tree, because there is nothing meaningful in this decision. You are forcing people who care for your game to choose between what they like aesthetic and what is actually useful. The only people who seem to like the "meaningful choice" are the one who literally don't do the content, in which those abilities are making the difference. For them wouldn't matter anyway if is balanced or not.I am a semi-hardcore player and I see myself enjoying this game a lot more without being so restrictive in return of nothing. There is no way that I could explain my guild, that I really like covenant "X", i am part of it now, (which has the worst ability. and soulbinds tree),so screw you guys, I'm gonna let you down.Just keep it simple Blizz, stop being so stubborn, and listen to the players who knows based on previous experience what is gonna work and not. (not talking about myself, but literally anyone else who have some knowledge about this game).
I'll most likely still pick necrolords for my hunter. I like their armor and overall aesthetics way more than kyrian.
necrolord covenant in the coffin as befits its theme LULW
its not about being the best.point is people will ask for the best on their groups and if you aint that rip
