As much as i love that Casuals get the option to get end-game Gear without needing to rely on others, i can see this spiral out of controll rather quickly.I mean, if this is made for the casual audience to not fall behind on gear to much, then i think we all can see how this is gonna get used as another "Need to do" activity for the "0.1%" Players and how this will trickel down to everyone else.
I LOVE this, because I don't really do group content often. Being able to play alone or with 1-2 other players is huge to me.
I'm so thoroughly sick of people saying we should HAVE to do group content for end game gear. No! That's a yesterday, backward way of thinking. The majority of the player base plays DPS specs and are casual players. DPS players consistently have to "wait there turn" sometimes hours at a time to play end game content. DPS players must consistently bow down to arrogant tanks and healers who enjoy the power position they hold over DPS by extremely stupid game design. WoW has been bleeding players because the core game play never changes and the majority of the player base plays a very boring waiting game to do end game content. It makes absolutely no sense at all. There needs to be TONS of end game content that doesn't involve bowing down to tanks and healers. I'm completely done with that.
This gives more casuals the ability to gain access to vault without grinding so much of the m+ content.
For those curious, it has been confirmed in a Q&A that the rewards for delves and outdoor content will likely scale up to right before mythic ilvl. So it won't be mythic, but very close to. That's extremely exciting tbh. I've been hoping for content to do that makes me able to skip out on m+. And being able to play with my partner sounds fun"Def won't be as high as mythic raids, but they can get up there. Team's still exploring where that upper limit actually is"It is also great that this feature will carry forward in all the expansions. Means we get to delve all over the continents I love that blizzard are ignoring all those complainers that say gear rewards should only come from m+ or raid and hate on outdoor players. They know it's a bull%^&* attitude to have. M+ players are especially egrigious and on a high horse atm
the role agnostic aspect makes me worry this will be too casual, as in trivial, to be much fun but as a retired nonraider who loves exploring and HATES mythics i am excited for any new mode that gives me a reason to play the game after heroic dungeons get boring a few weeks into each patch
