Am i the only one that saw the green cat...and instantly thought of Battlecat from He-man?
Only 1 of those mounts looks any good :(
Awesome, Monk challenge sets get pit vents. Guess when you drink that much "brew" you need them.
Does it seem like the JC-only gems have seriously inflated stats on them? The Cata versions were a little under twice the stats on the Wrath gems, but these are almost 5 times the stats. Are they going for massive stat inflation between 85 and 90? Or is it to make up for that fact that you can only equip 2 of them (for a total of +640 Int), rather than the 3 Brilliant Chimera's Eye (for a total of +201 Int) /Brilliant Dragon's Eye (+102 Int) you can currently use?ETA: The total stat value of equipped MoP gems would still be more than 3x the current Cata ones.
I definitely did a spit-take when I moused over the Delicate Serpent's Eye. That stat gain for one gem alone is much more than, say, the Agi leg enchant, let alone equipping two of them... so something is definitely up there. But I'm still fretting over how I'm supposed to handle 5 different JC mounts, which would involve creating 2 of each color to make the final one and also have each one learned (I am a completionist...), and to make just one is basically more than my and my friend's gold stockpile... and we have like 100K gold each. Jumping from a 30k or whatever gold sink to a 100+K one is a tad ridiculous.Just more things I hope get very readjusted before live... What is feasible, to me, is to make each colored panther mount require actual materials (gems, not goldsinks), and then have the Onyx panther require each of those mounts and then x number of goldsink vendor items. I'm crossing my fingers that this is the case. Some profession mounts are easier to make (flying carpets) than others (Mechano Hogs) but not every single mount should be a mechano hog/vial of the sands.Oh and finally: Good to see that hunters are starting to get some vanity love... I will definitely be using the Glyph of Aspects! But what the heck would follow us when using Aspect of the Wild? A Leaf? ... heh. Oh right Wild's gone now. In current beta stage of things, Aspect Calling spam + Call Beast spam = MANY ANIMALS. Now they need to implement Stampede, for game-breaking amounts of beasts. ALL OF THE THINGS.
I actually like the Warrior tier. It reminds me of T5, but that's not such a bad thing. Back then the sets weren't about matching the raid instances they came from as much as representing the essence of that class. I really like the chainmail textures (even though it makes one think of mail armor... can't imagine why) but I do wish they were somewhat smaller in places - the helm, arms, and legs have much larger chain links than seen on the chest. I'd also prefer the leg model with thicker leg plates, but this is still beta so who knows, it could happen.
So warrior's are gong to still throw? Also the warrior's gear looks better then some cata ones.
So excited about everything. The JC mounts are super, the Ultimatum ability is AWESOME, and the tier set is WHOA. Cannot wait! I was more excited about D3, buuuut I think MOP is slowly taking my excitedness!
Maybe the level 90 mage table will have a bunch of those take-out boxes :DAlso what I'm wondering: what exactly does the new Throw ability for Warriors and Rogues scale off of? Will it be AP-based, or weapon damage? Also, a 0.5 sec casting time seems pretty short, might be actually viable for moments when you absolutely can't dps a boss, either in flight or on top of a platform of some kind. Will they actually have such fights in Pandaria, as a gimmick perhaps?
My jaw... it fell off my face after seeing those mounts. WANT OMG WAAAAANT where from?
Really just hoping for a few thing with this push:
Monk Trainers are already in the Beta.
