great guide :)
Great guide! :D
Mage tip by Teroblaze :1)pick Alter Time, Cold Snap, Blazing Speed talents and Glyph of Rapid Displacement2)focus boss frame3)when Berserker Rush time in near Blink behind Flame Pillar4)if boss casting rush on you use Alter Time and blink through the fire when use Blazing Speed and run as Forest Gamp as fast as you can, when boss is almost reach you - use Ice Block and wait for Alter Time ending - when AT ends you will return behind flame pillar.5) profit!6)repeat if y have no AT cc and boss targets you again.also i made i picture :D
@Teroblaze A really good idea, but I kinda don't get your positioning. From what I understood of your post, you could stand next to the pillar(not behind it), then, as the boss starts to chase you - cast AT and use all your translocation mechanics to as far away from pillar as possible during these 10 seconds, including possible IB, if AT works when IB is up. When 10 seconds are over, you are back next to the pillar, with the boss supposedly away. If you have nearby pillar up and blink off CD - you can try to drag him to another pillar. Otherwise just go behind the pillar you've AT-ed back to, and the boss will hit it on his way back.I don't quite understand why do you have to stand behind the pillar for AT, and then blink "through" it, because not only is it a waste of translocation CDs, but also a threat to prematurely end Rush. If AT is supposed to bring you back to the pillar, and the boss is supposed to be dragged as far away as possible... why not move behind the pillar after AT, since the boss won't cover the 10-second kite distance in 2 seconds.
Also suggestions by Metraton for BDK tanking:Let your OT start the fight and get first stack of Impale, then taunt for second, take it and go up. Thanks to your CDs and AoE - you are ideally suited for fighting on the stands, so you will always go up, and taunt for Impale when you are down. This way you will always swap at one stack.Technically the tank who pulls can also get 2 stacks and then go up(meaning it will be you), but why add pressure to healers? When you are going up, see which side has the most further away Bomber\Bileslinger. Once you are up, drop DnD\Defile somewhere on the opposite side, cast a single BB and rush to the side with most distant important mob. Grip it, Outbreak, Remorseless Winter, possible taunt\DC for any other Bomber around, then immediately rush back. Ideally the targets will be slowed\stunned already by RW, so your deeps will have no problems taking them out. Death's Embrace through, while your deeps are clearing up, then manually apply diseases to the first grunt and start gathering mobs on the opposite side. Pop VB\DRW\DP to keep yourself up while others are catching up. Done.Alternatively, if dps are cereally good, you can use DRW on the side with most distant(and therefore most crowded)mobs to improve your burst and prevent unnecessary damage from loss of aggro. However, warn them that if they run to the opposite side with **** like Starfall, while you are clearing the primary side - you aren't paying their repair bills. Also - have Bone Shield up for every Impale and try to use Rune Tap at the last split second while he is casting it. It will give you about 40-50% of Impale duration with 40% reduced damage, which means almost no damage taken(even on Mythic), so healers can always catch up or slack if necessary.
Worst guide IMO(video), not only is English difficult... but one of the narrators volume is too low:/ Might as well just have techno music playing. What is really helpful is linking addons/aura strings and ability proc's the boss does, like Fatboss does.
One would think there would be guides for all the other bosses already :o
Why is glyph of the solstice beneficial for balance druids?
Hunters can Deterrence to prolong the Roar of the Crowd buff if Kargath chases them. NEVER USE FEIGN DEATH. You will insta gib someone. I would also recommend using the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Chim talent as usual for PvE as well as the glyph of Disengage, it will help you kite Kargath more effectively and confirmed by myself; you can be knocked around all you like if you're confident enough to use the ability to avoid falling into the tiger pits by disengaging before you fall inside the pit even if you're knocked towards one. This helps to avoid the stacking damage and free up kiting space.
We got our first kill last night! We put a warlock portal up in the corner and used that for help during rush. As a mage, I lured him between the pillars to the portal, took portal, then lured him along the wall until I knew I could Ice Block through the remaining duration. This way, we wouldn't have to waste a pillar on him, as we needed them for those darn cats.
Tip for Brewmasters! When you go into the stands, place your statue as far as you can on the side opposite where you are going when thrown up top. As you pull the mobs on the side w/o your statue into a big group, the other side will already be gathered in a nice group for AoE. You can either place a new statue at your feet which will cause the other side to come running to you, or just head over there after clearing the side you are dealing with.
With a decent geared team, you can handle berserker rush as in heroic. The fight will be longer, but less chance to screw it up.
Great guide, but how do you see anything with all that floating combat text and UI clutter?
