Congrats :) Even if they were under par this tier and Limit won fair and square, I am sure they will come back stronger in Shadowlands for an even more intense RFW.
Congrats!
So they are the world first not-first raiding guild now?
Congrats! Method
Grats dudes.

This was a great race, thanks to Method for making these races publicized. Although I wanted Limit to win this race, I would've been just as happy if Method or another guild like Pieces took it. May the best guild win.Although it is silly that wowhead lists Method as doing it in LESS attempts.... they didn't have to do LIVE bug testing nor investigate the boss like Limit did, being the first on him. Limit showed all the other guilds the mechanics of the fight and a strat to take him down.
Well that is very hard to quantify but it's both yes and no. On one hand did Method lose first yes and it costed these "investors" six more days of whatever they were paying for, but on the flip side that was six more days of content which means more followers, subscribers, donations. Streaming for these guys, along with Limit, during a race is serious cash and reputation. So, again, while Method did lose out and may make "investors" a bit upset they got six more days of advertising everyone who sponsored them.
somebody notice that sco all gives a hug, but jeathe just got the hand? i found that a bit funny.Nevertheless good job Method, sadly only second but i think they will learn from this and get even stronger in shadowlands. Maybe it was the right thing that they lost, because sometimes i felt they were to arrogant.
Mentioning less attempts is just petty on Wowheads part. I know Method helps pay the bills or whatever is going on, but as the biggest site you should attempt to maintain some form of impartiality. I'm not invested in either group, but any competition is good for the race, and thats what people should be celebrating.
"they managed to defeat the boss in 33 less attempts" - We don't even know if this is true. The pull count on the stream was adjusted so many times, removing pulls over and over and over again. Either way, pull count is completely irrelevant, not sure why its even mentioned in this article.
Agree, plus this "they didn't have to do LIVE bug testing nor investigate the boss like Limit did, being the first on him. Limit showed all the other guilds the mechanics of the fight and a strat to take him down."
I really wonder if the immunity soaking is gonna stay as it is. There's gonna be guilds reaching N'zoth in a few weeks that can't field a raid setup with 10+ immunity classes.
"World Second" isn't a thing. It's like when people say they're 42 and a half years old.
I guess they needed those rank 3 essences.
Grats! And better luck next time for top spot.
